  • How do you turn the jet when taxiing. i didn't see a steering wheel for the center wheel that most large jets have.

  • I love this Aircraft so much... Would b a dream to fly one..

  • This plane is really owning!! Comfortable plane! I hope I'll fly something like this one! A lot better than the Eclipse!

But it is legal to fly this plane with 1 pilot right??

  • @KLMPilot03 its single pilot certified

  • Well why didn't you just Fucking tell me?....

  • Cockpit looks awfully tight...worse than an RJ flightdeck

  • I have added this video to the Digital Thunder Studio flight simulation channel. Please see playlist section. For those that might never be able to experience flying the real aircraft check out the Cessna Mustang flight simulator software located in our Videos playlist section.

  • Out of this World!! Amazing skills!!

  • great video! thanks!!

  • I would so get one of these, but it looks so tiny inside. Wish Cessna could make it a little bigger with a bit more range. As it is, I think I'd sooner go for a Phenom, or hold out for the Hawker 200.

  • @bg11215 for me Cessna Mustang is Better than Phenom100,, but if you are looking for more space cabin and more speed and more range go for Honda jet...

  • love it so much i will have it one day.

  • Beautiful Airplane!!! G1000 rocks!!!

  • Is there anyone in the aviation world who knows how to fucking control the white balance on their video cameras? Every time a takeoff video is shot, the view out the window when the camera is transitioning from the cockpit is washed out; can't see the damned ground all away, can't see a damned thing. Learn how to use th3e white balance, assholes!!

  • @beeroosterm Wash your mouth out with soap.

  • @MachTwo57 As soon as people learn to use the fucking white balance!

  • @beeroosterm

It's looks like you don't know anything about both aviation and cameras. White balance don't have any connection with what are you talking about. Their mistake is use of auto exposition and small cameras with low contrast range, but as you can presume, limited space is responsible for using small and light weight cameras!

    Mostly handy cams!

  • some time ago I complained about Paul Bertorelli and that I didn't like his style, but after some months reading his material and watching all these awesome videos I really came to admire him a lot. He is a no non-sense guy that really gives viewers the information that they need to know if they want to buy an aircraft or improve their flying skills. I apologize Paul - I think you are the man!

  • @mikearuba: It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong. I admire you for that! Happy Flying.

  • *sigh* i wish i had one. i wish i won the $500,000,000 million lotto (yes there is such a thing) this would be the first thing i would buy. :)

  • @TheAppleMan100 With $500,000,000, you wouldn't buy a 777 instead? ;-)

  • @germb747 hmmm may change that to a Cessna Citation X. don't want a big airplane although i may want a Boeing 737.

  • if i ever won the lotto..this would be the first thing id buy

  • @orom1994 same here man.

  • "basically it steers like a big skyhawk". So the ground steering on it sucks?

  • @mitgolden76 lol

  • great video!!!!!!!

  • i have this aircraft it is amazing for those of you wondering i own my own buisness

  • @firiaxis I'm sure you don't mean to toot your own horn, but what an arrogant comment if it is even true.

  • Great review!

  • my dad just took delivery of a new mustang. I'm not a big aviation enthusiast, but I love this aircraft.

  • What Mr. Turner "knows" is that you're off center line on your landing Mr. ATP.

  • @Fangsout1 - I guess you're right... Gordon Turner doesn't seem very satisfied in the end... He looks kind of embarrassed! Maybe it was something not shown on the video or just the landing as you said...

  • a hundred gallons an hour yikes....that's just a bit different than the warrior I fly

  • ritgh tank feed right engine, and the same to left tank and engine...but in case of one engine failure, the plane will not be unstabilized after some time of flying! just curious!

  • I'd guess youre not supposed to continue flying for "some time" after an engine cuts out in the first place, but rather head for safe haven and get the engine checked out ASAFP.

  • @DODwebdotorg checklist engine out

  • @roofy2k That anyway, but a modern turbine engine shouldnt just quit on you. If it does, you really want to have it checked out. Soon.

  • Both tanks have an electric boost pump which is used to deliver fuel during start, FUEL TRANSFER, and low fuel pressure. That means if you have an engine failure you can balance the fuel between your two tanks.

  • thank you!

  • unlike twin piston airplanes, turbines are far safer if 1 engine fails...john king (king schools) particularly emphasizes this...

there is a patented automatic control system invented by someone for twin piston that will automatically do all the things required (feather, rudder, etc) in case an engine fails when take off close to the ground to avoid needless deaths, but turbofan jets are still da BOMB!

  • I want one!

  • 6000 feet per minut?

  • Nice video, if you want to fly it yourself: search for the flight1cessna citation mustang

  • I'll probably never own, or indeed ever have the chance to fly such a bird, but I can think about it when I'm building up hours in a rented Skyhawk. Good video and an incredible aircraft. Yeah... I can dream. Who knows? Meanwhile that lil Skyhawk is still pretty darn sweet :)

  • you sound excatly like me :) if i ever do make that kind of money $2,500,000.00im definatly getting this, hopefully by then the price will go down, or maybe cessna will make an SP version with alot more range(oh, and when i say alot, i mean by like 500nm or something like that)... ... ...keep flying :)

  • Hew from Skyhawk to Mustang, ALL cessnas are sweet planes, and are a blast to fly! They know how to build airplanes! They also have great reliabilty. Which other aircraft company has airplanes flying in large scale from the 40s and 50s? =]

  • Awesome.. gonna get one.. once I win the Powerball, and get my multi-turbine rating. :<)

  • there is no multi turbine rating just twin rating need type ratings for over 12500 gtw. the mustang is around 9000 gtw i believe I amy be wrong.

  • Even better...

  • However if you have limited experience you may be required by the insurance company to fly with a experienced turbine instructor pilot in your plane for up 50 hours or longer.

  • You do need type ratings for all jets.

  • @kingair81r You're correct that there is no "multi turbine rating." But as far as type ratings go, 12,500 lbs isn't the only criterium. The FAA also requires a type rating on anything powered by a turbofan or turbojet as well as their catch-all which I believe reads something like "any other aircraft that the administrator deems necessary to have a type rating."

  • Gee dad can I have one!

    I WISH!!! ;)

  • VLJ's are the future!

  • I want one!

  • Great video, but would like to see more about the G 1000 and the autopilot. I flew the Mustang myself and can only agree on Paul's statements.

PS: Turn off the mobile phone when speaking the comment next time. Put on long trousers ;-)

  • AMAZING!

  • Another great video from AVweb. These are great, and I sure appreciate them!

  • Excellent. Thank you AvWeb.

  • Lovely brd!

  • ★★★★★ , to much nose/limited view for me though

  • I agree just as the pilot confirmed, but I'd still take it.

  • I went to the show here in SLF and I really love it.. my dad was really crazy about it literaly... hehe awesome bird:)
