Hi was there from 91 to 94 worked in plant and knew alot of the mp's and cem-heads there on escort duty worked in the plant at the bunker M&tTE room hate its all gone now...loved the Barcardi and cokes ..lol...
@yisasakopaka Did you have any awareness of the remnants of nuclear fallout from all sorts of bad accidents involving missles blowing up? Of course how would you? Sorry for the dumb question but...not sure how to word it...My Brother was on this island as a Marine in 1944...It was no paradise..according to what I heard...
@lclaughton but if its my private island theres not gonna be anyone there except for my friends and I :D but if the marines were there it would be a shitty place to be
I drank my way through s bunch of movies there too.. Never had to use that phone place...I figured out how to use the phones in the MP barracks for free.
Exactly how far is that island from Oahu? Thanks for the awesome footage, I've always wanted an inside look at that place. Looks like a ghost town now.
@bj616 It's 700+ miles from Honolulu. The island is twice as big in this video as it was when I was there after Dominic. It's mostly made of coral dredged from the reef.
That's exactly why I want to join the military! Go and live where only a handful have! The middle of the freaking Pacif, lightyears from anything else!
I spent a year there in 87 looks the same.Sgt Lotter and I used to sit on top of the projection building and drink beer during the movie. Your video brings back good memories
thanks for posting really cool videos

I read that they have closed down the place, and the airstrip is not maintained any more.

Surprised they let you film this, or keep the footage.

Ahhh, the Arnold Ave Drive in! Many fond memories of Barcardi and cokes and a night at the movies! Was there from '85 to '86 as an MP
