  • I am amazed at what this man can do. I would not have expected this aria to be sung by a counter-tenor and let alone do justice to it. The best recordings of Es ist vollbracht have been sung by boy altos. Mera has taken this aria to new levels of performance. In no way can I flaw his performance.

  • This is extraordinary. His voice is unique in every sense. No man or woman can sing it better. It's a pity he doesn't record much of this music nowadays.
