I'm impressed with the sound quality- the instrument is mostly digital as I recall from playing there 5 years ago.. do you know how many genuine sets of pipes it has´?
The second to last variation is also in FM and is fun, whimsical and light followed by a broad, maestoso version of the hymn with big chords. It is quite nice...
Have you ever heard Janet Linker"s arrangement of "Meditation and Variations on America"? I am playing it next Sunday for Prelude. It starts out with a meditation, then plays the straight hymn, followed by a eighth note variation. Next movement is in f minor with melody in pedal, followed in F Major with melody in Tenor. The next variation is almost like a prayer in f minor, followed by a robust hymn like in F M with running pedal line.
wait, wait.........stem cell research and an accomplished organist!! Congratulations...why not organize a tour of the US and/or europe playing the great organs.....
are those organist shoes? I have organist socks. I actually couldn't find mine for easter morning so I took a pair my grandmother had when she was in the hospital and the textured bottom worked the same.

@hhsaslterps , I know. I played in sock feet with a textured bottom. More control on the pedals.
