You have to be like London's underground dance culture: Everytime the majors and other forces notice and exploit it, the community dissolves it and starts doing something completely different. Getting too bummed about punk being marketed is a waste of time; I will admit that a lot of cool fashions & graphics are unfortunatly mostly ruined. The only thing I'd try to pull off these days is the look of the Clash's debut cover; although I dont think stupid bondage gear will be missed much.
