GTA III: Ghost Missing

There's no valid text entry for it so it combines the internal model name (GHOST) with the word missing. It could happen to any car with out a proper text entry.

The reason the name is "GHOST missing" in the PS2 version upon entering is because there's no valid GXT name, so it uses its game name ("GHOST") with the word "missing"[1]. Rockstar have fixed this in the other platform versions, and gave an in-game name to the boat. This would happen at all other vehicles if they don't have valid GXT names. (from grand theft wiki.)

It is NOT ACTUALLY called the Ghost Missing. I put a vehicle into the PC version without changing the gxt file, and it was called *car name here missing* so it obviously was not given a proper place in the gxt file.

Oh. I'm not really familiar with that stuff, but you're saying that it was never given a name, nor was it meant to be driven, so it was never given a name, and that's what happens when you don't give it a name?

Yes. If you do not edit the gxt file after adding a car it will have the name used by the game (ghost) and the word missing. It happened when I added car called the Panto and it was called PANTO missing.

In pc that boat is black on ps2 it is silver also on pc it is just called ghost in ps2 it is ghost missing

where you find that boat its only in "gone fishing" mission and why its blua and called "Missing" normal thet boat ist black please help !

When your chasing the guy, don't shoot at him and eventualy he will drive onto land. Make sure you have full health and armor because he carries an M4. When you kill him, walk to the boat, get in, and it will slowly slide backwards. Pressing reverse will help too (especialy if it's high tide). Hope that helps! :)
