This is the Motobu-ryu version taught to me by Chosei Motobu at a seminar in Virginia. I believe the stance isn't supposed to be a Shiko-dachi rather a Naihanchi-dachi which is a Kiba-dachi, a very very short Kiba-dachi: I have another video (of my Naihanchi Shodan) that brings light to my stance.
It's nice to observe the differences and similarities to Shoto Kan Tekki. I wonder if the applications are part of the Motobu-Ryu karate system.

@BelloBudo007 The applications of Motobu Ryu Kempo's Naihanchi Shodan and Nidan are taught as the Motobu Ju Ni Hon Kumite.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the subtle differences. Some of the grappling applications are a bit more apparent.

What style? Why use Shiko Dachi for Naihanchi Kata?
