Likewise, Obama hasn't quadrupled the national debt - it has gone up by about 10-12% on his watch, and according to the usdebtclock website, the federal budget deficit is actually shrinking. By these measures, Barry hasn't done nearly as bad as you thought.

It may well be that actual unemployment is higher than the BLS's official count, but that would be true for counts done under Bush as well - unless you're claiming that they changed their model just to make Obama look good.

@tncdel I just wanted to say that Obama hasn't doubled unemployment - it went up by about 2% since his inauguration, peaking at 10.6% in January 2010, and has declined since then to 9%. Likewise, Obama hasn't quadrupled the national debt - it has gone up by about 10-12% on his watch, and according to the usdebtclock website, the federal budget deficit is actually shrinking. By these measures, Barry hasn't done nearly as bad as you thought.

It may well be that actual unemployment is higher than the BLS's official count, but that would be true for counts done under Bush as well - unless you're claiming that they changed their model just to make Obama look good.
