I know very well how it is to suffer from depression as I have it myself, but life really has to go on and if you just need to push yourself harder. I know it's easier said than done, but that's life. It's tough, get over it. Some people will always be on meds and some people will always need help but that shouldn't stop you from doing any form of working. Part time? Heard of that?

Fuck her. You know what is depressing? Here in Hamilton Ontario, there are people working 2-3 jobs to support their families and they still have to go to the food bank for help! And these people get no benefits, no nothing, then if they get sick or lose their jobs, they have to fight with the gov't to even get their EI instead they try to make you go to welfare. she said she gave all her life to IBM? she's only 29. how much of her life did she really give to IBM? probably only a few years after excluding the year or so she was on benefit. one of the symptoms of depressions is loss of interest in doing things that are usually enjoyable. I think her actions/ photos prove that she is capable of enjoying a vacation. I really hope they find a really good doctor to examine her this time.

This is not the first case in Canada when the system is abused. Another time at a company, 2 women accused a man of "sexual harassing" to have him out. Unfortunately something like depression is so subjective, that there is no scientific 'test' to prove she has it. As far as anyone else is concerned, she could be faking the whole thing, and there is no way to prove one way or the other. I do like how she was drinking alcoholic beverages, which are a DEPRESSANT, and have many worsening side-effects when mixed with anti-depressants.
