Thank you for listening. and thank you for subscribing.Perhaps you will like my other song "You can do anything".It professes that when we move forward with desire, faith, and determination all things are possible.
good on you & the community! everyone should be able to enjoy such places not just the few with money. yday's news, residents on the east-coast of australia are fighting to save their million dollar beachfront homes from natural erosion and small islands are now facing the impending rise of sea levels. long live honuapo.
Perhaps with millions of dollars and clever engineering those folks will abate the erosion problem. But in the end I think nature will always prevail. Better to live in harmony, in my humble opinion.
Oh I am so pleased you won a stand against the money grabbing property developers, what a beautful song, love and peace on your community 5*....Barbara
It remains an ongoing battle for balance and harmony. We must be ever vigilant, all of us. We only have this one planet to call home. Science shows us the possibility of space travel but who among us would prefer to live in a tin can?
Wonderful, this place...and very mystic. One can feel it´s spirit while watching your vid. Thanks for posting it.- Your music is so pure and sounds like it came from the deep south. I see cotton-fields before my eyes when I hear you sing and it reminds me of the essential roots of Jazz down in New Orleans.
The whistling...? I'm making an attempt at imitating the red cardinal birds in the yard, and at the end the whales. They really can be heard when diving out in the bay. It's really an eerie sound when one is under water.
I am consistently inspired by the wonder and beauty of this special place I call home. One might not guess from the photo images that I am 80km from the world most active volcano,Kilauea. One of my goals in life is to visit your homeland. Greetings to you and your country!
Who said anything about religion? I think the ones in my yard look more like the Saint Louis variety ( cardinalus baseballius)either that or they're lost.... :-)
Neat guitar picking Thomas. Nice voice too. Pretty cute song with a wee touch of humour thrown in. I like it! Honuapo looks really beautiful. Well done all of you for keeping it that way. Cheers Davey.
Thanks for the compliment! We must always remain vigilant. The Ka`u coast is one of the last vestiges of unspoiled coast on the island. If you are interested, look in my subscriptions for "Ka`u films". They have an excellent documentary on the subject. Kapu Ka`u

images in the video are suggestive and unusual, so wild, so big...
I am Italian, and so I am surprised of the 'natural nature' in your yard...
words and music appear like a sweet contact of man in this world.
Nice, sweet, tender, image of the life.
Greetings to your Country and to your yard!
