I don't get what Clark is trying to do in this scene- is he trying to make her confess or is he just making fun of her?? Seriously, I would've thought he'd just not bring it up out of awkwardness.
At 1:10, I have a question I really need the answer to. Clark says, "I heard. 5 couples?" As in, the guy kidnapped 5 couples and did the test to them. Here's the Q: When Clark said that. did he include Lois and him as one of the 5 couples or exclude them? This is very important for me to know because after he says that Lois gets this look on her face that I can't tell is either surprised or shocked. And I don't know if it is a good or bad shocked.
haha, Clark's look at the end says it all..she implied that if Clark was asked the same question "do you love her," he would have said he didn't love her and then she would have been electrocuted meaning of course that Clark does love her...once he put all that together in his head as she walked away, he realized that she was right and he actually does love her. that was a very, very important moment in the Superman saga...where Superman first realizes he loves Lois...good shit
@playsbba018 I totally agree you but...it was very weird...because this episode is before 8x10 and then...from episode 10 to episode 14 in season 8....A big mess took place....
"Statistically its the safeiest way to travel". Superman's been saying that line for 30 years. I like that they throw a few lines like that in for the older generation to catch.

Hmm, maybe she thinks that he would lie and say that he wasn't in love with her and then she would have been electrocuted Lol... cause if he IS not in love with her, then he could just say it and NOT let her get fried... that would be simple! but he wouldn't want to hurt her feelings after her proclamation... ugh, Clark just needs to get real.
After Lois says that she slipped the sensor of her finger, Clark's face is like =( but he was trying to hide that. And Lois isn't that good of a liar =)
But really, he thought that she was telling the truth b4 his dumbass believed her lie about the sensor slip, so, why was he so nonchalant about the fact that she was in love w/ him?
I guess my point is that I never thought of Clark as a typical guy. He ALWAYS wears his heart on his sleeve. He wouldn't just dismiss Lois' feelings like that...at least I thought he wouldn't!
Lois is such a great liar... we all knoe that she likes him... and for the fact at the end when lois was like "who knoes where we would be if you'd anwsure that question" it looked like he was realizing that he loves her.
