according to my findings about the salt situation, the salt would suck up the coldness from the ice, and it will surround the soda can inch by inch, and as the water keeps getting colder, the salt prevents it from being too cold that it would freeze. (bored, leave me alone!)
If you put salt on snow or on ice it will always be -21 c or in that area
