Also when you get to see how wolves interact, you get to see the patterns in behavior. And the comparison you are mentioning of humans and apes isn't quite the same as wolves and dogs. Simply because there is a massive gap between us & apes, and there isn't such gap between dogs and wolves.

I have a Yellow Lab named Devon who I trained through positive reinforcement, not abuse. I absolutely hate this man! Devon walks calmly and quietly on a leash. He sits on command. I've never had to abuse him to get him to do these things. I would never do that to a dog. Choking, punching, hitting, and kicking are not ways to train a dog.

The only good thing Cesar have done is starting a debate. For me the debate is about ethics, what is your consience telling you, is it okay to abuse dogs, can we go other ways.

It is not about training techniques, that is a completely different story, it is the principles behind  dogtraining and dogbehavior.

don't hate...he is probably the best thing to come to the "dog training" world. Most trainers probable would prefer a more violent method but cesar is all about understanding the individual dog and tailoring a solutiion to that dog. You are not very well informed
