I would say that an international batsmen would be able to connect with an MLB pitcher... much better than the other situation at least. I'm not a pro, but I can hit a pitching machine at 85 mph a lot better than I can a bowling machine at 85 mph. (I used to play cricket).

@Jonesee417 Rugby isn't by default tougher than football, however, don't be fooled into thinking that rugby players don't hit at full speed... a winger in full flight can do a 100m in sub 11, most are very close to 10 flat ... furthermore once you get hit you have to get up and keep going, the game doesn't stop for a while for everyone to reset and catch their breath. A football player would not last the 80 minutes of a rugby game... the opposite is however not true.
