It still works, but not as effective against human players. I know it works on CPU, but most human players can dodge out of it.

I actually HAVE seen people pull of a Jecht block when caught in this, but to my knowledge that's the only way out of this, and even then it's quite difficult. I know in the Jp version even a Jecht Block doesn't work, but in NA I've seen it myself.

This combo might work on AI players, but a human player could quite likely dodge or recover out of it before you hit again. Though dodge-canceling into the attack again is a good idea. I exploited this mechanic with Squall's Heel Drop constantly vs. the computer.

I tried this against a faster character but some of them seem to be able to recover long before they get in range of the move again. I think this may only work against some of the slower guys. (Maybe my timing is off, but I don't think I'm wrong)

It can be dodged that im sure of. Basic skill called "controlled recovery" which you although obtain at around 50 ish.

Cpu may be at 9/9 in strenght & behavior, but can be still stupid enough not to really know when/how to use controlled recovery.

Funny...every time you're about to corner Cloud to a wall, you follow-up with Lance Charge. I'm guessing this is only a Semi-Infinite, and not entirely an infinite where there are conditions involved because if you had reached Cloud to a wall, Garland would have missed him, thus, disengaging an actual "infinite." Am I right or wrong?

Your somewhat right. Getting the opponent up against a wall will sometimes stop the infinite but it won't really matter since you can aim where your opponent goes with Round Edge (spin your analog stick). And I did Lance charge to add some variety tot he video =)

If you play on ad-hoc party, people dodge out of it, and cloud has the longest hitstun animation and has problems with getting hit by normally inefficient artificial combos. If you try this on other characters, they will dodge out. Even online I've have cloud players dodge out of it even tested with them
