the argument earth was made for life is backwards. it is being argued by one of the possibly few planets that evolved life due to the physical laws of the universe. it was not "made" for us, life happened to evolve in an environment that could sustain it, and did not in most hostile environments. back to biological evolution.
There are deep issues with explaining the origin of the information in DNA, I am not convinced even slightly that it could have arose by chance, necessity or a combination of the two, after studying all the current hypothesis to date in detail they all have deep flaws that they are unable to overcome. On top of that, what about the reason we have a universe that is even capable to develop life in the first place? It's way to problematic to just dismiss these problems in my view.
