there's a lot of twist dialogue here:

FIRST OFF REPUBS ON DR PHIL: OBAMA WAS AND IS AGAINST PROP 8, just bc he is not for gay marriage does not mean he wants to amend the constitution to strip away another person's right. so obviously these talkers havent check the facts themselves.

second, the youth arent exactly the most educated group of voters, does that mean we should shun them. so it was wrong of obama to appeal to them?

fyi, its not just obama's voters who are ignorant, its mccain's too. trust me ive interviewed both sides.

the fact of the matter is that ppl will not know every issue, they will however know the issues that are close to them.

this is just the beginning, you have to pull in the youth vote, then you have to push the info onto them. its hard enough as it is to get them to register let alone go out & vote

bit of advice, think for yourself and dont give too much weight to fox news or msnbc.

being involved in politics does not always mean you have to be right or left. im a non ideologue and non partisan, use to be republican(only for fiscal issues). but found them to be contradictory on smaller gov. so im independent. its amazing how many young conservatives i meet always have a stick up their ass, who ever said being conservative meant being a boring person?

i subscribe to the conservative fiscal policy. I dont just watch fox, i read. I would never subscribe to the blatant mess i see as the democrats, and republicans are not much better either.

your statement about young conservatives is quite tasteless. i am not boring at all, nor should i have to prove it to you.

I dont think politics is about left and right. When you have moderate republicans like john mccain, your bound for failure.

When you have people like obama, you're apparently headed for european statism and bound for failure, too.

I play the field when it comes to politics, however, i do feel that i am more of a fiscal conservative. In the end, its about being realistic.

listen, did i ever say all young conservatives are?? just the ones ive met. i use to be one myself, never understood why most of them were so uptight.

you have nothing to prove to me.

i didnt say anything about being moderate. our country ALWAYS comes before ideology. those are my personal sentiments. so you would never catch me bickering over whether there are enough social programs or if the gov is too big.

besides im more passionate about social issues, social conservatives love big gov

and that howard stern video was a RACIST VIDEO, which they also forgot to mention.

stern thought blacks were voting for obama bc he was half black.

Aaron misspoke about Proposition 8, but he does know what he was talking about, which is more than I can say for most Obama voters.

If people truly knew what they were voting for, we wouldn't be in the absolute and total mess that Obama and his cabinet are plowing us into right now.

It seems that most people really wouldn't have voted for Obama if they knew that he was going to try to disarm our country while putting more of our troops abroad, put our country trillions of dollars into debt (funded by inflation and borrowed money from overseas), all while promoting extremely radical left ideas AND not following through on other liberal ideas (like proposition 8), I think they wouldn't have voted for him.
