  • God can't tell us what is right and what is wrong, he can only reflect what we already know to be right and wrong. We know that it is wrong to steal, not because god told us its wrong, but because we wouldn't want anyone to steal from us and because we understand that by stealing we are inflicting some kind of harm on that person. Nowadays, we know that it is wrong to own slaves and to deny women equal rights, but how do we know that? God didn't tell us...

  • Where can I get some charts made like yours?

  • for all of you unbelivers out there, i just want to say be careful before you criticize and think you know everything. Satan is doing ridiculous things to our country and generation through the love of money, pleasure, pride, drugs, lust, and especially making Christians look foolish. the ppl in our generation cant look in the mirror and admit their own foolishness to themselves. the end could happen tomorrow. but no matter who you are, you will bow and you tongue will confess "i was wrong"

  • @jamalboss34 "Unbelivers" [sic] freely admit they do no "know everything;" that is why they don't believe in your b.s. BELIEVERS think they have it all figured out, and it's sad that you fail to recognize the irony in the vitriol you spewed. Instead, you resort to childesh threats -perhaps effective on impressionable children- that aim to scare people into thinking like you do. "No matter who you are, you will bow and you tongue will confess "i was wrong" [sic]. YAWN...ZZZzzz

  • dude i love your preaching but bringing the military with the gospel is not right IMO. The men who start these wars are elite Babylonian mystery religion followers ( masons and so forth) Henry Kissinger ( a man who helps to manipulate world event and wars was quoted saying "military men were dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy.", Now will you honestly believe the SICKOS that start these wars and send Good men like you and your buddies to die for LIES they spew out .

  • @Freethinkin14 i hope you dont take this the wrong way, Im not against soldiers, my father and grandfather and uncles are marines , so Im against the reasons for being in wars and the elite scum that start the wars with lies, God bless you brother you are doing God's will indeed. I just bought The 700 page Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron book... i pray that God grants me the courage you have brother, Keep on Open Air Preaching

  • @Freethinkin14 thats what you think. their are innocent people in Iraq and other places where wars take place. are their ppl in charge who start wars for oil or whatever it is, and cover it up? possibly. but whatever the reason, thats not why soilders fight. its for them, you, and everyone around me and you so we can live.

  • @Freethinkin14 and the people in charge if they lie, will pay for it if their is somthing that is coverd up. god keeps account with eveyone for their decisions. but i am with you that their are conspiracy's to be justified!

  • @Freethinkin14 agree 100% most of our modern wars are based on lies

  • For all the haters... “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you" John 15:8

  • @bammc19 pure wisdom!

  • that boy can preach

  • Go and preach in South Central L.A

  • such a big contrast in no. From the beginning to the end. Wow Jesus is so powerful huh. Just the name. praise Jesus. Xx

  • WAS THAT RAY COMFORT AT 10:20 !? :D RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

  • This "preacher takes the con out of conscience thought, and the rest of us are left with science and rational thought. I believe in Jesus, but this guy's methods are bullshit.

  • This asshole "preacher" is so good at quoting the Bible and bringing up the friends he lost in the Iraq War. He exploits their tragedies as an example, and instead should be praising those who killed his friends since he knows to "love thy enemies."

  • @4thandinches everyone in this world is equal, no matter if they are American, Muslim, Jewish, a rapist, child molester or murderer. he means we need to look the everyone's faults , even our own and forgive them. but if the wicked people don't repent and change, they will not inherit the kingdom of god. , not only are people like murderers, child molester or rapist wicked, even the people who are lovers of themselves, money&pleasure. ppl can change even you can, remember that.

  • These pseudo-preachers regularly prey on the weak-minded, uneducated people who just agree with all their baseless claims. And if you question their unproven points, they just cut you off. What arrogant, evil, deceitful persons these guys are. Churches are for those who want to find Jesus, and I am all for that. But spewing their pathetic, twisted brand of Christianity in public is appalling.

  • @4thandinches U say u believe in Jesus, well thats great so does the devil and his angels... u said this guy should praise those that killed his friends? that makes no sense.. PRAY for them not praise them. seriously bro.. this guy and others like him, and soon me too, are spreading the gospel to those who either havn't heard, fallen away, or dont understand. alot of churches out there aren't doing their job. the bad stuff u say about this guy? a-hole and stuff. show me evidence.. seems nice 2me

  • The emcee is just an asshole that tricks you with stupid questions. How that translates into spreading the word of Jesus is baffling and makes no sense.

  • yea grate Preaching brother Hallelujah yea Blessed be the name of the Lord most high God Bless u brother in Christ Jesus Amen

  • dont try to disprove god using the holocust, so called scientific athiests,

  • So...did he end up accepting Jesus Christ as Savior?

  • Wow, this is ridiculous!

  • I got a question: Does God endorse killings? Like Joan of Arc. She claimed that she did what she did for God. She claimed she was chosen by God to lead French army to victory. But in doing so, she also resulted in thousands of soldiers' death. If God hates killing so much (as one of the 10 commandments), why would he permit killing? And if the war is for a noble cause (ex. to stop the Nazi), why couldn't God just snap his fingers and end the war without having millions to die?

  • @Casshyr

Really, anyone could do any evil thing and say "God told me to do it." Same way with the catholic church and the crusades.

God permits killing in the same way a judge permits killing by giving the death sentence to a murderer. God is a just judge, but he even gives second, third, and twenty-seventh chances to have you penalty paid by Jesus before casting judgement.

People are evil, have a free will, and will kill each other anyways, but God uses them to judge each other.

    Old post :(

  • @greyspot00 I don't know about you, but if I know someone with the power to prevent an innocent person from being killed but chooses not to step in, i would classify that person as "obstructing justice" and that someone to me is not worthy to be worshipped. Just saying.

  • @Casshyr

"Obstructing justice" is stopping an authority from administering justice, like getting in the way of a police officer, but I understand what you mean.

If God stepped in every time you or I were about to do something outside of His will, we'd be better off chained up in a padded cell, to be honest :D . And if we never had to opportunity to do evil, we'd have no free will. The Bible speaks of things throughout where God wanted to work for their good, but the people would not let Him.

  • @greyspot00 ""Obstructing justice" is stopping an authority from administering justice, like getting in the way of a police officer, but I understand what you mean." => actually not quite, i know a case where a person saw an old lady getting robbed, and he chose to just walk on, didn't even call the police, and when he was later caught, he was fine for obstruction of justice. True story!

  • @greyspot00 "The Bible speaks of things throughout where God wanted to work for their good, but the people would not let Him." => so basically if someone wants to kill you tomorrow, torture you slowly until you die, God cannot stop that person. Because of free will. Doesn't that make God insignificant in this life? That God is powerless to stop such act, and you are basically at the mercy of human society. Sure, God has control in heaven, but in this life, doesn't sound like he can do much!

  • @Casshyr

I didn't say he was powerless. He can, and has intervened, but sometimes he does not. Jesus told us that if we chose to follow Him, we WILL be persecuted. If people were never given a chance to be evil, would they be called evil? Yeah, nobody likes pain and suffering, but people that give that as an excuse have no eternal focus. I suffer today, but what does it matter in the end? Life is short vs. eternity. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God..."

  • @greyspot00 "I didn't say he was powerless. He can, and has intervened" => ok so i'm confused. Do we have free will or not? Because if you say sometimes God can intervene, this means sometimes we do not have free will. I have never heard of any Christian saying that b4.

  • @Casshyr

We do have free will. God doesn't micro-manage your life, but if he wants something to happen, he will make it happen. I can't pretend to understand the mind of God for when and why He chooses to work, because, well, I'd have to be God to do that :D

We have a free will, but that doesn't mean we have supreme control over every circumstance around us. I see Him work in my life because I follow Him. All I know is "we know that all things work together for good to them that love God..."

  • @greyspot00 "I suffer today, but what does it matter in the end?" => it's funny, cuz many Christians pray to God to make their lives easier. In fact, a pastor tells me "turn to Christ and your life problems will be gone". This is the exact opposite of what you are telling me. You are saying life will be harder if I choose to be a Christian.

  • @Casshyr

He's both correct and incorrect. Jesus never said your life would be "easy street," but that his "yoke is light." There is a whole world of problems that will never effect me since I am a Christian. On the other hand, now God corrects me as a good father does. Sometimes that really hurts, and I deserve and learn from it. I cry over things that would never bother me before, and other things have zero effect on me.

My normal mood is higher, and the lows were capped, if that makes sense.

  • @greyspot00 I'm still not sure how much control we have over our lives. Like job interview: many Christians pray to get the job. Yet the decision is up to the boss. And if God really gives us free will, then that means the boss has free will whether or not to give you that job, and no matter how hard you pray, the final decision of whether you get the job or not is up to the boss, not God. If God intervenes and let you have it, God is violating that boss's free will. You get my point?

  • @Casshyr

"Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."

I'm actually going in to apply at FedEx in the morning, so I need to get to bed :D

I understand. And God will do that on rare occasions (such as with Pharaoh). But another problem is asking just for what YOU want. For instance, I'm applying everywhere right now. I'm relying on God to pick which job He wants me to have. If I never hear back, it's probably not the one.

    Stupid character limit

    Night :D

  • @Casshyr it will cost you to turn to christ my friend most ppl cant cause their lovers of themselves of money pleasure partying drugs and many other things. all of these acts of wickedness are problems and lies. perks among the road to damnation once you can stop craving these kind of activities it will set you free, and you will get wisdom like never before. life will only be harder if you care about what you want rather then christ. the road to damnation is more wide than it is long.

  • Loveseeing people doing the will of God

    kinda annoying

  • Amazing. This is true evangelizing.

  • I'm glad to see that Eric Estrada has turned his life around.

  • THis is awsome, God bless your work!

  • lowering someones self-esteem by humiliating them in public/ pointing out their faults, then raising them by promising them a cure is classic brainwashing technique. hmmmmmm... what link could i be drawing?

  • @pop2u1 could u elaborate on what u mean by that? i have searched google and have found nothing relevant.

  • @ThePaddy1122 srry i ment ender's game it's a book

  • Did the man I think his name was Brandon did he accept our Lord as his savor? I hope he did and I hope many others there did. Great way to plant that seed into people. Keep it up my friend blessed are you for reaching out to people with the gospel in a unique way.

  • how do you remember SO MUCH

  • This guy is good :P

  • he was better in CHiPs

  • Hey i wanted to write on your profile but its disabled? Anyways i really like this technique. I went to a joel osteen event and this guy was trying to open air evangeliaze but he was basicly condeming everybody without sharing jesus. It was just really bad but this is great. I subbed so keep it up! Btw what did the guy say afterwords?

  • This is ridiculous. Thank goodness people are waking up about how ridiculous religion is.

  • so im confused so your saying that the only way to get into to heaven is jesus? i pray everynight and i pray to GOD. sence god is jesus is that okay? and as your saying that he was a steeler and adulter, can you get hose forgiven?

  • Comment removed

  • PRAISE GOD i am wondering did that guy repent? he seemed very receptive, even appreciative.

  • Punishment, reward and bribes! Hallelujah!

  • The crowd thinned significantly by the end, haha. fucker.

  • Notice how the crowd thins as conviction sets in.

  • You should call it "straw manning evolution from start to finish".lol

  • What did the guy tell you after you were done?

  • Amen brother, please pray for hunility and boldness for me so that I can preach to strangers

  • I LOVE STREET PREACHING!!!!!

  • This was a Genius idea. I hope the guy will turn to Jesus!

  • Oh man...I really loved what you did...I really loved how you did it, and even if you had been talking for 15' to a one single person, it should have really been worth

    God bless you infinitely man...Really

I'll watch the rest of ur vids; this one has already blessed my life a lot! :D

  • God bless!

  • I could tell that if Chad was a lesser man, he would use that training on that ignorant fool shooting his mouth off about his unfortunate "KIA" friend. WOW! Thats all i can say about that... But Chad restrained, for Satan was provoking the whole thing with a way to reach into Chad's heart and cut it. But Chad didn't skip a beat, and continued to preach the word of GOD straight into the minds of the people....Awesome. What a display of Godliness. And self control.

  • @jataylor7:He's a SEAL. He wouldn't need a gun. But haha yeah Chad is an even greater spiritual warrior.

  • @aa3gunner Im very familiar with what a SEAL is and most of all, what is required of them. And i wasn't talking about Chad "shooting him" i was saying that Chad could kill him with his thumb for shooting his mouth off like that. Just to clear it up, cuz that would be a rude statement from a young christian. Best to you in Christ brother.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Start to finish!

  • It seems to be unjustified and morally and intellectually questionable to call people cockroaches because they don't want to hear the same tired drivel about Jesus Christ. It's not like the U.S. isn't already the most Christian industrialized nation on earth.

  • Excellent video. Amen.

  • really enjopy these videos, keep up the good work bro!

  • Great Video brothers! Love it all the time! Keep up the good job, God Bless you all! Greeting in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

  • that Vietnam guy says soldiers don't die for our freedom

do you agree with him ?

  • The gavel hits in the Gospel message. You keep saying the judge raises the gavel but never swings it. God has swung that gavel and sends his son to suffer that punishment for us. This is the second time you have said it and all I wish to do is get this wonderful example on track. ~ Papa Giorgio

    religiopoliticaltalk[dot]com

  • Thanks again Chad!!

  • THC CURES CANCER

  • is he a navy seal?

  • False Gospel! You just told people they are saved by repenting of their sin haha....that leads to a life of looking at yourself to see if you have repented enough sinse no one repents perfectly. You will always be wondering if you "repented" ENOUGH.....I fell for this for too long. Turning from your sin is a natural thing when one believes in Jesus Christ but you are already saved. You are saved by faith In Jesus alone....Its not Grace if you have to live up to a certain standard.

  • @josiahdallas ...if you believe that i recommend you watch it a few more times. this isn't salvation by works at ALL.

  • @josiahdallas You said "You are saved by faith In Jesus alone", actually u r saved by Christ alone through faith alone but you have not had true saving faith until you have supernaturally seen and understood the offensiveness of sin in the Cross of Christ. This faith therefore leads to a life of holiness and repentance, not to 'earn' salvation but because of salvation. Contrast Titus 1:16 with Titus 2:11-14. Is the Lord purifying you? What are you zealous for?

  • @4570sharps "leads to a life of holiness and repentance" ....isn't that a subjective statement? How could you ever know if your life is Holy or Repentant enough to be able to say....Now, I know I'm saved.....what if it isnt as holy as the next christians life?....then are you to worry that you are not saved? I just cant stand it when someone says you MUST TURN FROM YOUR SIN when you cannot turn from ALL sin...(if we say we have no sin there is no truth in us)....it leads to a mind prison

  • @josiahdallas U've erected a straw man & then seem to fight against scripture. When does scripture tell u to seek assurance of salvation by comparing yourself to others and not the Word of God? U 'philosophize' with no support from scripture, no attempt to deal with the balance of Titus 1:16 vs. Titus 2:11-14, Romans 6, Romans 8:13-14, etc. "but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."

  • @josiahdallas Would it help u to understand that the new testament teaches that those who r children of God, who have & r lead by the Spirit of God can be identified by a life practice of striving to please God not so that they may become His children but b/c they ARE His children. In this context 'turning from sin' is a life long practice lead by the Spirit, not instant perfection. Salvation is about God & His glory, not so much about u. (cont...)

  • @josiahdallas Salvation is about God & His glory, not so much about u & me. He is a good, disciplining, caring and leading parent to all His children otherwise they are illegitimate(Heb.12). He makes His children into good trees who bear good fruit for HIS glory. You will always be the worse sinner you know so each man must compare himself to God's Word and not other men.

  • @josiahdallas

Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

    Mark 1:15

    Was Jesus also wrong?

  • @rationalresponder Thanks for the info. I'll give him a call. I'll see if they can do anything through the LW ministry in the UK. All the best and keep going bro!

  • Are you training anybody else to do this? It is a skill that needs to be passed on to others.

  • Great job Chad. May the Lord use you for HIS glory. Be Blessed!!

  • Good job bro.....God bless

  • I commend your boldness

  • I love these videos. You are anointed.

  • Wow ! Another great Open Air event. NeedGOD com

  • Wow, Chad, you are doing wonderful work here. I loved the "people hate the Light" part, when you prefaced saying Jesus' name with the cockroach analogy. I also loved how you identified the heckles as predictable when the Gospel is going to be preached. Awesome from start to finish! I also prayed for Brandon, that his heart will be stirred. God bless you and keep up the great work! :-)

  • They clapped..............AWESOME :)))

  • The guy in the red shirt, the heckler, PLEASE tell me you all talked to him too!!! He's got a "thing" against GOD. Love, love, LOVE talking to those people. :)

  • analogy failure

  • @babaganoug comprehension failure.

  • @anonazero No, babaganoug is right; the Judge analogy is flawed. Actually, quite a few "Way of the Master" tactics are flawed. But the Judge example is seriously flawed.

  • @WorldWar4 It's far from perfect, but I'd like to hear your analogy. Better yet, I'd love to see some videos of you sharing the Gospel with lost and dying sinners. Criticism usually comes from people who don't have the courage to do anything themselves.

  • @zudabeck Well, he used the crime of drunk driving. Change the crime to vehicular manslaughter. Would you consider it justice if someone killed your spouse in a drunk driving accident, and instead of doing the time themselves the judge allowed someone else to do the time for them? Would you consider the judge that allowed this to be "just"? It's easy to make the analogy work with a crime that requires a fine. But what about a crime against another person?

  • @zudabeck

Amen brother. Those who can't, criticize.

  • @WorldWar4 Not only the judge analogy, but just read Galatians, and we see that we are not judged by the "10 commandments."

  • @1tmoch no, the bible says that believers are not under the law. meaning, we are not under judgment but rather grace.

GALATIANS 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

people that are not led by the spirit (non christians) are still under the full weight of the law.

  • @anonazero But even unbelievers are judged primarily for who they are, not necessarily for what they do. However, all their actions will come to light and judgement in hell will vary according to their deeds done in the flesh against ALL the law that applies to them, which is much more than the 10. The point is, is that it is flawed to say that phrase that is parroted by the LivingWaters crew. Don't get me wrong, i love many things about them, but they are also in error on many points.

  • @1tmoch unbelievers are not judged for who they are, they are judged for what they do. who they are happens to be enslaved to sin, thus, all they can do is sin. all sin gets the wrath of God.

believers, on the other hand are not under judgment from a court. there is no condemnation for the believer in christ because when the father looks at us he see's christ's righteousness. you may be referring to our good works being judged but thats another matter entirely.

  • @anonazero I wasn't referring to believers at all. I agree with what you say on that. But the unbelievers are in Adam by nature of being born (original sin). A fetus doesn't lie, steal, commit adultery or lust, make false gods, murder or hate, disobey parents, break the sabbath, covet, etc, and yet there are most likely many unborn in hell. The point is, the bible teaches we are condemned even before misdeeds, so fundamentally it is because we are in Adam. You MUST be born 2x to enter heaven.

  • @1tmoch "...before misdeeds" you mean sin? actually, the bible teaches that we hate God from the womb. we are born in sin meaning that from the moment we exist we are sinning because we hate God by nature. misdeeds (outward sin) are only the product of that nature. thankfully salvation is of the Lord and God can save anybody anytime he wants. paul, john the babtizer, jacob, etc etc etc because of the work done by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. so i totally agree that we have to be born again.

  • @anonazero Yep, i meant sin, and i think i agree with everything you said here. So, sinful creatures sin by nature, for that is "who they are." But what my question is, is what LAW are the fetus's transgressing? Not any of the decalogue. Maybe "love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength." And then would you argue that somehow a fertilized egg of 10 minutes (soul intact from conception) is sinning. If so, which sin?

  • @1tmoch the very one you just quoted. we hate God from the womb.

Psalm 51:4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge. 5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. 6 Surely you desire truth in the inner parts [a] ; you teach [b] me wisdom in the inmost place.

  • @anonazero Ok, so we can say we are sinful, but cannot identify what kind of sin a fetus commits. This is why i default to what is taught elsewhere in scripture about the sin of Adam bore in us. Just for what we are in our depravity. Anyway...

  • @1tmoch i just told you the sin. we hate God from conception. it is ou NATURE that compells us to hate God.

loving God is a command. therefore hating God is sin.

  • @anonazero So it is like i said, that "natural" emnity produced from our separated condition by virtue of being in Adam. It later (once more grown in even rudimentary cognition) manifests by SPECIFIC transgressings of certain laws. Even an infant can deceive, but not a blastocyst. Even though, that 1 week old soul embodied in a small collection of cells is a sinner by virtue of it's bent against God, inherited from Adams fall. This miscarriage will not be judged by the 10 commandments, sorry.

  • @1tmoch "salvation is of the Lord". God saves who he wants when he wants. the bible just doesn't say if babies go to heaven on autopilot but i trust God with that. thats where the character of God is so consistently important. every world religion has a fickle god with rules to keep and loopholes to escape through but God says "I save you in spite of you for myself by myself".

    this includes fetii :)

  • @anonazero I agree 100%. I think you are missing my point in the initial critique. My issue was one of parroting this notion that the 10 commandments are what we are going to be judged by. Granted, i know that will come into play for certain many which will determine their specific lot in hell. Anyway, it's not that big of a deal, i just like to challenge some of the modern cliche statements that spring from peoples lips.

  • @1tmoch yeah, we arent under judgment. that whole presentation is for unbelievers that do stand condemned by the law by not trusting n christ and repenting. its all good bro.

  • @WorldWar4 ORLY? please share with the class.

  • @anonazero Well, he used the crime of drunk driving.

  • @WorldWar4 so what you're saying is that the person that the offense is against has the right to declare a just sentence on the guilty party?

  • @anonazero No, that's not what I'm saying at all. The victim has a right to expect justice from the legal system.

Now, will you answer my question: Would a judge that allowed someone that has done nothing at all to you to be punished in place of a person that did be considered just" in your opinion? Would "Justice have been served" in a situation like that?

  • @WorldWar4 right, the victim has the right to expect justice.

here's the problem with your analogy:

the victim here is God, the judge here is God, and the person volunteering the propitiation for our crimes against him is God.

we are the perpetrators, the criminals, the guilty party.

so does the victim and the judge have the right to determine what satisfies justice? absolutely :)

  • @anonazero I should have anticipated that response.

So, you're saying that lying, stealing, and adultery are only offences to God? The only commandment, out of the four he uses, that is only an offence to God is blasphemy. So that is the only offence that fits the "judge' analogy. And even drunk driving as a crime in society isn't analogous to blasphemy as a crime against God.

Are you not going to answer the question I've been asking? It's a simple yes or no.

  • @WorldWar4 all sin is really the product of pride which is blasphemy. its acting as if you know better than God. in effect its putting your priority to yourself above God. ya see, all sin IS blasphemy in practice.

  • @WorldWar4 people can commit sin against other people and we do that all the time. the difference between offending man and God is this. the response to an offense is directly proportional to the stature of that individual. for example you can curse me and i can't do much about it but when you curse me its as if you curse God and the response to that offense is one of infinite measure.

example2: kick a bum and there wont be much done to you. kick the president and you'll go home in a body bag.

  • @anonazero So, when considering an action, you don't take into account how it may affect another person? You only consider how your God is going to feel about it? As for your second example: are you saying that when you consider how your action may affect another person, the consequence it may have on YOU is how you decide? Are you saying this with a straight face? Is this what you would teach children? This is an immoral and selfish way to go about living. I hope you aren't being serious.

  • @WorldWar4 lots of questions. you seem to have taken some things wrong. maybe this can clear a lot of ground.

if a man lives and loves God with all his body mind and soul he will love his neighbor, enemy, and friend as himself. he will serve those around him, even his enemies, and he will love people so much that they will see that he is different from most other men.

the absolute best thing a man can do is put God first.

now ask yourself the same questions you posed to me.

  • @anonazero Actually, that didn't clear up anything. It doesn't make any sense at all in the context of our conversation. My questions still stand. And, I'll point out, remain unanswered and avoided by you. Please, answer this question:

Would a judge that allowed someone that has done nothing at all to you to be punished in place of a person that did, be considered "just" in your opinion? Would "Justice have been served" in a situation like that?

I have asked it several times now.

  • @WorldWar4 and i have answered it several times in several ways already. the reason why you're disatisfied with my answers is because you keep asking questions that make presumptions that are either not true or simply things i dont believe. how am i to answer a question yes or no when its attacking a strawman?

thats like saying draw a square circle.

yes, in this instance the victim and the judge are the same person so they have every right to declare justice to be served.

  • @anonazero No, I'm not attacking a straw man. I was showing how the WOTM Judge analogy was flawed. I'm not dissatisfied with your answers for the reason you say I am. I'm not satisfied with your answers because they are attempts to avoid my question by answering a question that I didn't ask. You are trying to say that when you commit a crime against another human being that the real victim is God. That doesn't make sense.

  • @WorldWar4 it makes perfect sense if any crime against anyone is a sin against God, if God vindicates the innocent, and judges the guilty.

it makes perfect sense, you just disagree with it or dont understand christianity. if its the later then you are indeed attacking a strawman simply because you dont understand what we actually believe.

that isn't in any way avoiding your question, i answered it multiple times. you just disagree with the response.

  • @anonazero You would be correct if we were only discussing Christianity. But we aren't. We're also discussing the analogy. That's what my question is regarding. I will admit that I think Christianity and it's doctrine of vicarious redemption is disgusting to say the least. However, when you try to compare it to something within the only world that actually exists, it becomes, or should become, to anyone with any actual morals, disgusting to anyone. Believer or non.

    My question still stands.

  • @WorldWar4 disgusting that God would people that hate him in order to save them and satisfy justice at the same time?

what part of that is disgusting?

  • @anonazero I understand his "logic" perfectly. First, let's ignore the fact that the bible gives a completely separate set of rules that it actually calls the "ten commandments." In the judge analogy, the judge doesn't make the laws, he just enforces them. Your all-knowing, all-powerful god set the rules/punishments and enforces them. Unfortunately, with his current system, no one is able to follow the rules that he set. Therefore he tortured himself as a loophole to bypass this.

  • @babaganoug 1. the ten commandments are not how to be saved. man can't be saved by the law that condemns him.

    2. God IS the law. his very nature is order, perfection, righteousness, and holiness. sin is the departure from his will. when we chose to do that we chose to be apart from him, to do our own thing.

    3. the effect of our cause is judgment because God being righteous must give justice otherwise he is not just and that would go against his character.

someone has to pay. God pays or we do.

  • Are those flip charts actually available to purchase? Or maybe LW can put a pdf download of the content on the site?

  • @Cookey77

I will find out the details on the flip charts today:)

  • Thanks guys. Interesting thatnguy who keeps interrupting doesn't just say "it's false" he says "how do you know"

  • It's great to see people hearing the Gospel. They may not like it, they may not accept it but you glorify God every time you speak it. One day one of those people may remember those words and turn to God.

Well done, you are both challenging to myself and I am sure inspiring countless others.

    God bless

  • Keep up the great work bro!!!
