I heard how Jesus changed other people's lives and I wanted it too.I was a lying stealing cheating arrogant sexually immoral drug-addicted jerk.I knew I was bad and wanted to be good.I asked Jesus to take control of my life;I had made a mess of it.He came and purified my thought-life and heart.I believe the Son of God died for my sins and rose again. Understanding His love I trust Him and give Him control of my life. He transformed me into a new person.Never knew joy like this was possible.
Ask and ye shall receive! I asked Jesus to show me my pride and dishonesty, and He did. Then I asked Him to remove it. Then when I was able to be for real with myself and Him, I asked Him to show me my sin. Then I asked to wash my sin away with His blood. Then I asked Jesus to show me the fears, doubts and scars I had in my heart. Then I asked Jesus to take it away. I could not do any of this myself, I had to ASK HIM to do it. He did. And then HE ASKED ME to tell others what He did for me.
I am 17 years old and i can tell you right now it breaks me seeing kids cussing, smoking, drinking, swearing in God's name. Im an FCA leader at my school and i have people come to prayer group and pray and talk about God and then i see them in the hallway or in class cussing talking about drinking and smoking and i just don't understand. I just pray that this generation gets a wake up call very soon before its too late.

I was a choker. I would pinch my throat and I would think that it would have been best if I'd not been born, that it would have been best if I was dead. My parents divorsed. I knew "about" Christ, but I never had a revelation of His awesome love. In 2007, things started changing, and God brought me to Lakeview Christian Academy. It was there that I was no longer confused and I have since have had hope. I now am graduated from a public school, but I will always have that hope and peace.
I've been through the worst things life can hit you with but at the end i thank god because if it wasn't because of those difficult obstacles i wouldn't be spreading such love and peace around my community and i wouldn't be the beautiful inner loving person that i am. @snipe4261 there is evidence that God is real but He wants us to believe without seeing first then He will show His self to those who believe.
Everyone has secrets that they never told anyone or just maybe one person, but I have had people that I never spoke to about my life tell me exactly what I was going through... Only God can tell people that
I was an atheist all my teenage life. I know EXACTLY how it feels to believe the world literally revolves around me. I'm 21 years old now and in the United States Navy.. I've matured a little bit.. and I've asked myself a lot of questions, like "is this all life has for me?" I love the Lord with all my heart and I pray the lost children of God find hope in Him. I really do. Matthew 11:30; Jesus will give you rest.
I still do not understand, that if god is 'so good', then why the hell did the world turn out to be a giantic chaos with humans who kill each other for no reason?
I don't believe a good god would 've let that happen.
@coyote69lotus The world turned to chaos because of man's poor choices. God didn't do it - mankind did. The process of healing from that chaos is finding strength in Jesus. That's why God is always there for us.. because we need Him. I hope this helps.
God is omnipresent yet invisible, but you can be sure he is all around and He hears every prayer. God also knows what's in our hearts and minds, you can't hide anything from God
@pride0021 God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we've done wrong (1 John 1:9). It doesn't matter how badly you have done wrong, God will forgive you for anything if you are really sorry :)
You save them by love. That's the point of the video. "For God so loved the world he gave his only son." We are made for community with God, not the study of theory about him. He is a living God, holy and perfect. One who desires to walk among his people. That is LOVE! Merry CHRISTmas may you all KNOW his glory.
You'll save them by leading them into a silly emotion driven sing a long?
Thats nice, bring every type of effective evangelization to bear, if your leading them to something? if your sing along leads them into His one holy catholic and apostolic Church, we can be nourished together as One long after the emotion subsides and they move on for adult level theology they can truly base a serious life on.
@Snipe4261 Through love, patience and kindness? Or you mean the rest of the world that is so in love with themselves that they have no room for God? Jesus is a choice....not a trap. Believe the world...they've done such a lovely job of it.
@lucky7balls Through delusion, tradition, fear, lies, faith, and guilt - that's how religious belief works. Growing up is tough and even when you are are grown up life is still tough but mature adults don't need imaginary friends to make themselves feel better.
@Snipe4261 If God bothers you so much, why do you consistently hang out on Christian content video comment sections to degrade, devalue and chastize people who don't believe as you? If you don't believe why bother to berate? If you think God is imaginery....why care to comment at all? A man full of himself, wrapped up in devaluing others and chastizing them for their belief in a God has no room in him for God.
@lucky7balls I care about whether or not people believe things that are true and have good reason to hold those beliefs because if they make important decisions based on fallacious reasoning and inaccurate or incorrect beliefs it has a negative impact on their lives and the lives of everyone around them. You have no right to pretend you're standing on moral high ground here; believers are not the only people capable of having compassion and concern for their fellow human beings.
@Snipe4261 So trolling christian comment sections and attacking random christians on Youtube is your most effective tool at showing compassion and concern. Wow. I don't pretend. I am the most sinful, wicked and evil person I know. the most important thing I can do daily is to draw a big circle around myself and fix me. Leaving snide comments and then attacking someone who stands up for his beliefs isn't very mature.
@lucky7balls When someones beliefs are based on faith there's little else that can be done to make them understand that they are being completely irrational outside of ridiculing those beliefs. Just because you feel strongly about something that doesn't mean you're opinions are worthy of respect, and in the case of faith it's such a repugnant concept that it's worthy of no more than the utter contempt of all rational people everywhere. BTW, I didn't choose to start this conversation - you did.
@Snipe4261 SO trolling on a youtube site and ridiculing believers in God is how you spend your quality time. That's great. BTW, did you have an opportunity to view the video beofre injecting your drivel?

@lucky7balls The argument from popularity is a logical fallacy and doesn't even begin to prove the existence of god e.g. in antiquity the vast majority of people thought the earth was flat and that the sun orbited the earth. Just because its a popular belief that doesn't mean its more likely to be true.
The idea that I somehow worship myself or want to be god just because I don't share your god belief is a non sequitur.
Ironic, you remind me of myself before I grew up as well.
@Snipe4261 Faith in God is not a popularity contest. In fact, it is much harder to have faith in something not seen than it is to discount its existence. PRESUPPOSITIONALIST, FIRST CAUSE ARGUMENT ,ONTOLOGICAL ARGUMENT ,Our universe contains too much order for our existence to have been created out of chaos. We are complex beyond our imaginations and when you look at such a complexity, you see God and His creation. You don't have to share my beliefs. It's not about you or I.
@lucky7balls You're the one who brought up the popularity argument.
My point is that faith, because its a concept diametrically opposed to knowledge, is the worst possible method for determining the the truth. Faith is, by its very nature, a bad reason to believe something. Having very strong faith is seen by believers as having very strong character (I should know, I've been there) but the truth is the strength of your faith is just the degree to which you can be manipulated by others.
@lucky7balls I never stated nor indicated that I "hate" anyone. That's you projecting. I don't have a problem with saying I don't know how something occurred if I don't know. @pride0021 well the type of christian that judges ppl instead of showing them wat the word says and wat will happen is wrong, i just say wat the bible says and that it is wrong but i cant change that, i can only pray for u
There are people out there that NEED Jesus! Yet are we really reaching out to them? Are we really sacrificing our time for the things Jesus commanded us to do? Its time for all of us to wake up, including myself.
I honestly believe this is a wake up call not only to our generation of teens, but this should be a wake up call to all followers of Christ. Its time to stop living in our comfort zones, thinking we are doing "good" by just going to church every Sunday, reading our Bibles, although there is no problem with this. But do we really live out our life for Jesus? Do we really put our own lives to an end and start living completely for Him?
@pride0021 Without really knowing you, I'd say the same thing I would say to all lost people; follow Christ. There is nothing too big or too great for Him to help you with. No matter what is going on in your, deciding to follow Christ would be the best decision you could possibly make - and it's vitally important that you do. There is no other name by which you can be saved.
@Passionofawriter i love what you said, "he calls you as a leader, and he will lead you in his name." love thatt- the victorys already won, we've just got to follow him and trust him, bc there is no loss when he is our god!
