@bradMi80 Nah, dad was pretty close-mouthed about all the stuff he did in the Navy (he erved from '35-'64). I do know that he was assigned to the USS Philippine Sea when Adm. Byrd did his Highjump expedition and that he "flew" with the Admiral at somepoint, but I don't know the details...Dad was a Naval Aviator, btw...
