I've just done this level in 16:14, take my advice about the 'Block bug' and do a redo.

The block bug doesnt work on the Playstation. I've redone this level in my secrets run, it's a lot better. This run is really old, and it does suck.

I think you're capable of completing this level quicker, at 1:50 don't go up the slop on the left, instead go down the slop on the right, climb down the ladder, push that block forward once and then perform the 'Block bug' by jumping through the left side of the block. In doing this you don't need to wait for the boulder and the shortcut knocks about 2 minutes off your time. After performing the 'Block bug' take half a dozen steps forwards and jump to the right; it makes the monk appear.

2:04 <--- There is easier way get the Prayer Wheel 1. There is ladder when you go down in rolling rock section, there you can use box-glitch. It worked on ps1.

At 0:32 if you jump with a better angle around the corner you can jump directly onto the black ledge to save time

RadxxRyan How do u properly activate the corner glitch in TR1 that allows u to climb up unreachable ledges? I was able to do it 2 times after atleast 15 minutes of failed attempts.

TR1? I recall most corners in TR1 require you to turn Lara a little more than 45 degrees with the corner, and after about 2 jumps you should notice Lara start to move "into" the corner and then she should pop on top of the ledge.

Usually its for a flare cancel. A trick that stops Lara from stumbling after a long fall and saves a couple seconds.

This level isn't that hard. Took me about 1 hour first time. Now it takes me about 10 mins, cuz I can just jump through the maindoor inside the Temple! lol ;-)

Yup. The door is placed a littlebit outside the wall, so you can jump through at the sides. To do that you must run and jump at one the sides a few times while looking to the side with the cameramodus.

Ah I see, I did that near the end of my Bartoli's Hideout secrets run, jumping throught the crack of the door instead of going around it. Thanks that should come in handy ;)

You don't have to since the Monks usually do the killing in this level. Plus when I'm speedrunning I don't worry about kills unless they are really in my way lol.

Nice, but you can skip the first boulder by jumping from the corner in to the corridor - you jump over the trigger. Should save a few seconds.

if you shoot any of them, then they all attack you. so just be careful with your shooting lol. if you accidentally shoot one, you'll have to restart the level.
