But how is the milling process actually being done?

Dear tzveeka,

Basically when you look at a milling machine, the rice falls down from the conical hopper above on to a grinding stone in the turret-shaped part below. The yellow-ish glass window opens so that the operator can get in to see and feel the rice flowing inside. A computer-control console allows automatic settings.
