  • Its great to see it up and running again , I have not been to the factory since my third grade class trip 40 yrs ago...i would love seeing it again but as i see in your video they modernized the inside ! ,,When i was last there i felt like Edison was still there working on one of the floors since it was 100% authentic and everything was left as it was last used ..cobwebs on the test tubes and it had an old smell to the building ! does the inside have anything thats still original to it?

  • @glenmann62 Actually, most labs were left intact and the demos inside those labs are limited to small groups of people. When you go to the chemistry lab for example, many times you will get a warning from the ranger saying that "if you break anything, we will be stuck here for hours until the Hazmat team has cleared the area!" This specific room was added to accommodate fairly large groups. Every one was seated and the ranger had the ability to walk around the room and let the people participate!

  • @kinanfahham when is the best time to go , during the week or weekends ? and thank you for getting back to me , I have read many books on Thomas Edison and collect and restore his phonographs as a hobby , i,ve actually wanted to see the inside again and it sounds like you had a great time!
