I've having some problems with the side-side move to escape his daze, anyone got tips? Is the goal to do it as fast as possible? Does going fully left and right matter? I'm grabbing it with 2 of my right fingers and twiddling the shit out of it and it ain't working for me, it's owning me. Had some problems with it earlier too on certain parts, just that left-right jamming. Help.

Perseus rented the helm (not crown) of invisibility from Hades, so Hades might use the helm in god of war 3, as Hades is a confirmed boss.

As the platform is raised and the statue blocks the beam, quickly climb the ladder and deflect the second beam with the golden fleece (press L1).

Man, Kratos is the master of causing seriously awful deaths to people. I mean, first he bashes Perseus's head in the wall, then it looks like he tries to drown him, and finally he stabs him with one of his swords, throws him one way, and then throws him back through the wall onto a hook! Stage 1 - magic cannot lock on most the time and does not have full effect *Typhon's Bane is the best for this part IF you choose to bother*. The Hammer is the best choice.

Stage 2 - You can use Cronos Rage to push him towards walls and that gives an opening for hits.

Stage 3 - His 'Flashes' can be negated with good timing using a head/bow trick *hard* or a well placed *easier when multi-casted* Cronos Rage orb.

Stage 4 - No threat..who cares

Loved this boss, though the video certainly would have helped the first time. The first stage when he has the Helmet of Hades is pretty tough, but it's nice that the designers added in that little mythological easter egg regardless, for those who know it.
