Until the United States abolishes the Monroe Doctrine, there will never truly be peace between America and it's Latin America neighbour. Being From El Salvador and a Journalist my self I can say that I really enjoyed this report. I was starting to wonder if the Real News had become blind to the historical event that happened in El Salvador with Funes winning the last election. This piece was touching and it really hit me right at home. I used to work for the real news as a volunteer when I was in college in Toronto Canada and they do great stuff. I wish I was still there so I could have helped out with this report. Amazing.
