No idea man. I heard rumours that they want to rebuild the factory, but that really makes no sense since globalization/digital photography has basically rendered photo film properties useless.
Wish I knew! But regardless, pretty cool spot to check out. Gives you a neat perspective of what once was. Decent amount of info about it if you google :)
Im Heading to this place sometime soon; thanks for the video! I wanted to see if it was safe enough to walk in; and from the looks of your video it is! Thanks tons! :D
I remember having to call Kodak for service on photo lab equipment a long time ago and always reached someone at the Kodak offices in the City of York. I soon realised something was up when all the technical support calls started going to Texas.
@atmoi666 we ended up going down but we had one light for three dudes. effing scarrrry shit man. I went down there once by myself.. the sound is so dead. You hear nothing! Anyways, out of nowhere, something smashed to the ground in the room behind me. I thought for sure I was gonna die. Never have I ever ran so fast in my life
Lesson learned: go in numbers. And with good flashlights
Bring a flashlight and some spare change. I went when it was winter and the basement was flooded (but frozen). There's still power in the building and some of the electrical cords in the basement ceiling have been ripped down. Anyways, they MIGHT be charged and MIGHT make contact with the water in the basement. So BE CAREFUL and toss some change in the water to see if the water is electrically charged. Or just avoid water in the basement lol
very well done

Wow, looks cool to me man, I heard this place was demolished, is that true? Seems like just the kind of place I'd like.

It used to be a big factory with lots of buildings. All of them got ripped down except for this one. It's definitely worth checking out.

can you give me the address?

Other than that, it's really cool!
