Being tall can actually be a disadvantage in this type of competition, because your higher center of gravity can be used against a taller person. If she defeated you, it'd be based on her skills vs your skills

Well the point isn't to show women are better than men if that's what you're finding offensive, it is to show jiu jitsu actually works. Were the girl to have no skill, she'd have 0 chance. Through BJJ she has a much higher chance.

You fail to see the point.

This isn't about who's better between a man and a woman, it's about showing women they have the option of being able to increase their chances of defending themselves. Mainly in rape situations.

Obviously if the male has a weapon it wont be practical but that applies to men as well.

Do you practice BJJ or Judo yourself?

@4c00h The only problem with your argument is that you're taking striking out of the equation. A few blows to this woman's head, ribs,gut would probably end it pretty quickly. That guy is good size and strong. If she did not very quickly get some type of choke out or disabling hold, she toast. As long as you are following the rules of the game, that's one thing, but in a real world battle the rules go out th window.

@flesh5371 Yes it's very true but my argument wasn't that it makes a woman unrapeable but that it increases her chances of being able to defend herself against an attacker trying to do so, a woman with skill will almost always be better off than a woman with no skill in this situation, just gives them a little bit more hope
