I think this could have been a lot better if:

When the tempo changed and they went into the Cannon, there was a break, and 2 or three girls singing a high pitch cannon during the break.

I hope that sort of makes sense to anyone?

Sorry das mein Kommentar missverständlich war. Ich habe das Stück Live genießen dürfen und es kommt natürlich deutlich wärmer und mit mehr Gefühl herüber als hier auf dem Video. Das Stimmvolumen eines Chores kann leider ( oder vielleicht "Gott sei Dank" ) nicht in ein paar Bit's gequetscht werden. Solltest Du die Möglichkeit haben ein Scala-Konzert zu besuchen, lege die 30€ dafür an, glaube mir, die sind es wert, insbesondere das Repertoire aller Musikrichtungen überzeugt.

No, the original version is better! I listened to creep, the blowers daughter and yellow before and I both like the originals and the covers, but that are slow songs, but the girls sing to fast and I don't feel the emotions. You can't convert every song you want from every band, some songs don't work, and some do very well - like creep.

Ich bin wirklich ein großer Placebo- Fan. Un' auch von Scala war ich bis jetzt immer begeistert gewesen. Trotzdem weiß ich nich', was ich von diesem Cover halten soll. "The Bitter End" ist eines meiner absoluten Lieblingslieder, un' ich find' es schwierig zu interpretieren. Ehrlich gesagt finde ich, dass die Gesamtstimmung des Liedes nich' so gut rüber kommt. Dazu sind die Mädchenstimmen zu "weich". Sonst finde ich es eigentlich ganz gut (:

Like with most of the covers I don't like the piano.

This cover is much better in the end and it is always more fun to combine a choir with the original style of music. You can see what I mean if you hear the Can't always get what you want cover by Scala.

Or just do it accapella.

Was mich stört, ist das Schlagzeug. Wenn man vergleicht - ich finde, das hätten sie bei "Smells like teen spirit" hundertmal eher nehmen können - da hätte es vielleicht gepasst. Hier passt es nicht, finde ich.

@DeepEyes87 I've never heard a choir that had anywhere near this much emotion, which granted, compared to Placebo isn't much, but it's hard to transfer the emotion from what is essentially a pop song, to a full choir. The strings are beautiful though.
