  • Japanese people are very good in making horror films. It's true.

  • Very good supernatural film, the foreigners know how to make good horror films. The American version was crap.

  • i was watching this one in the lounge room with my bro and then the phones rings tha exact same time in the movie, I ran out screaming and the whole stared like im retarded

  • Asian horrors = Scary awesomeness

American remakes = Retarded piece of shit

I hope they won't actually make remake of Death Note

  • @SangoNyanYaoiFan

What about Seven Samurai's american western remake "Magnificent Seven"?

  • @SangoNyanYaoiFan I think they just did. Well they're just rumors. I don't know.

  • japanese one are much scary then american! i love asia horror they the best

  • American version is the shittiest film compared to the original one. I promise i saw it when i was 8 and i didnt sleep well for a month XDXD

  • was this one really scary? i saw the american version and the only thing that scared me was when my phone rang during the movie O_O

  • @linzee20 Yeah, the Japanese version is much scarier

  • @linzee20 This one was defiantly scary. I saw this one first. When I saw the remake I was literally laughing in the theater because it was so bad. xD

  • this movie was so fking scary

  • Japanese: One Missed Call 1. One of the best scary movies I ever seen... O.o

Japanese: One Missed Call 2. Mhe, not bad...

Japansse: One Missed Call 3. It was so fucken bad... Don't ever watch it.

  • trust me do urselfs a favor and watch the original the remake is so dumb and not scary at all :P

  • seems like japanese movies like random bits of hair coming out of no where..

  • DUDEEEEEE GET OUT OF MY CUPBOARD!!!

  • okay...I'm making sure not to miss another call ever again. lol

  • The most jumpy part was when the victim is suddenly killed off after saying the same words spoken by the message.

  • what's with most Japanese horror flicks having to do with some creepy little girl ?

  • where can i download this movie? :) and also the one missed call 2 :) tnx

  • Was ready to settle down to watch the American version, to find the player wouldn't load properly. Went onto watching this original verison instead and from reading other peoples comments and reviews i am thinking it was the best thing to do. Really creeped me out to the point it will be a wonder if i sleep tonight...off to watch the sequels!

  • oh my actual fucking god

  • "Hey want to watch this horror movie?"

    "Yeah that sounds good"

"After wards we can watch the orginal one that came from Japan"

    "AH HELL NO!!!"

    XD

  • Its higurashi all over again. LOL

  • the chick with the long hair screamed the grudge -.-

  • ah yes... white girl with reaaaaally long black hair....this thing never gets old

  • why dont you turn the phone off

  • @normandyangel it will still ring

  • @normandyangel I'm assuming you haven't watch this. :P

  • @OzJenj88 i haven't, i don't think i watched the american version but i love horror movies!! :) i guess logical thinking never works in horror movies

  • @normandyangel If you do watch any of them watch the Japanese version with subs, it's way better! ^.^

  • Got to love the japanese movies

  • This one is the GOOD "One Missed Call" - the rest are all copies! This movie is seriously scary

  • Japanese scary movie is superb!!

  • Rated the second worst movie of all time.

  • This movie was so good! Super scary. ^.^

The second one made me cry (sweet and scary), also great!

  • Why is it that japanese films are scarier then american horror films...

  • @lollipop3256 Because American films now a days are not as subtle as they used to be.

  • @lollipop3256 because nowadays most american movies are based on german, russian, japanese and swedish movies. the ones that arent are half the time based on older american movies.

  • I have seen the second one, and I was about to die! Me and my friends are going to see this one today, I think im gonna shit in my pants!

  • this movie is the only movie i seen in a long time that is realy SCARY.

  • TaxiNareh is a great horror.Lol that's what it sounds like in japanese right?

  • OMG! I'm Sooo Gonna' Watch This! Like I've watched the 3rd & 2nd, but not the 1st yet :P Å^^

  • i love asian scary movies :))

  • Japanese people sure love their scary hair...

  • @TheBigCheese199 It's a long time folk lore thing with Asia... Shrug.

  • american doesn't have any legendary ghost like asian do... so they just remake their version.. even drama also the same. manga, anime , games, now what are they have.. nothing

  • @kyoichi90 troll. most mangas are translated into english there are very few american manga artist/ writers, i dont even know where you got video games from cause both countrys make video games and japanese games are sold in america and vice versa.

  • I once rented this movie and watched it together with my grandmother in my apartment when she came over to visit, and I was totally creeped out, but my old grandma was pretty bored O.o And they say young people today are jaded. Oh well, she likes things with lots of blood...

  • the japanise version is 100 times better then the american!

America is sutch a wannabe xD

  • @ILU224 i know.redoing(fucking up) one missed call, mirrors, the grudge, the ring, whats next?

  • This is my ringtone :DDD

But this movie is great, waaaaaaaay better than the american one D8

  • justin biebr gets a call he's friend answers it

    friend: its a womens voice

    bieber: thats my voice

  • i need new pants after watching this

  • i watched the american version n it wasnt even close to this one

  • @xXHelloXKitty The Eng version ruined it. God it was painful to watch ugh.

  • @LittlePinky82 oh i know. it wasnt even scary. i like the way that the japanese do it because they do it right

  • i loved this movie :)) but i didnt understand the ending with the hospital o.O

  • while watching this movie i laughed a lot with my friends, but it gave me nightmares of little girls in cupboards and women walking on the ceiling._.

  • it seems nothing like the american movie....

  • @TheDeathlyHall0ws71 Maybe because the Japanese version came first.

  • Black hair, asian movie again!

  • So the movie is like...

Phone: Blah blah blah AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH *ded* x_x

Me: *So, i heard myself saying something, so maybe if i won't say same thing i won't die*

    Time has come

Me: (example) oh, hi Blah blah blah *O.O* AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!

    *ded* x_x

    *I'm an idiot ><*

  • now this is more scarier!!:OOO

  • loli love how bell sounds are from willy wonka

  • i just watch eng version and i must admint that this japan trailer is more scary then whole english movie O.o

  • @OmnigmaTheMaster actually it's american not english. there is no way we would take credit for american mistakes.

  • @filmsfandisney77 U R SO NERDY

  • @OmnigmaTheMaster all english remakes are bad just like the grudge

  • japanese moveis is really scary

but the trailers like SHIT !!!

  • yeah but if you check out the ring jap. version and the ring amar. version the jap. isn't so scary

  • @cas3272 the jap. vertion of the ring helped explain more about the video tape. When you show it to someone elese before you're 7 days is up thing is better explained in the jap. then in the american. You still dont completly get it even in the 2nd movie when the guy was trying to put the curse on the girl. It was like, dose it work? was it made up? kinda thing.

  • Its hard to understand that movie thats for sure

  • Maybe I should change my ringtone. After seeing the movie trailer and reminding me of what happened I kinda want to change it. My ringtone is the One Missed Call tone O_O......

  • Wher can i watch dis???

  • can anyone explain the ending to me?

  • I just do not understand why the Americans copy these brilliant Japanese movies.

Americans have many good horror movies. why not just put subtitles on Japanese film. remakes are usually very weak compared with the original movies.

  • @manticoretuga yep, the american one got 0% on rotten tomatoes

  • Oh my god, as the trailer ended my phone buzzed. To say it was finished charging. XD I am so weak.

  • F*ck, scared to look behind me...XD

  • amazing movie...this is horror filme yehhhh.....

  • @linkheroofwonderland its becuz the usual japanese firl will have unusually long hair, and hair is just generally ceepy

  • In a nut shall it The Grudge ¬¬

  • This is a good movie. Seen it b4 =)

  • i watched the japanese version on-demand and it scared the hell out of me

  • I saw a bit from the movie and...I was freaking out every time i heard that f*** ringtone, But I love this movie.. japeneese are best in horror movies!! <3<3<3

  • iv seen that japanese version and it scared me so much i had to sleep with my sister with the lite on!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @YuffieandYoshi light not lite

  • its kinda sick when american opeople take the video itself or remake . its weird , yuck ,fuck all the americans

  • I am the only comment on this video that isn't an ad for a movie watching site?

  • what if they dont answer the voicemail >.>

  • The first half of Miike's One MIssed Call is great. It gets weak by the end but is still worth watching!

    **Streebo

  • Ill go ahead and ignore all this spam....this looks great...but the american version SUCKED DICK....just sayin XD

  • Guys you should defenetly see this film. It pisses me off when someone say that it sucks without even watching it.....so far, its the best movie i saw this summer!! see it at moovi.co.cc!

  • omg while i was watching the trailer my phone rang!!! :o

  • I saw it today on moovi.co.cc and it was awesome! I don't get why people say this movie is a waste of time..

  • I saw many of the Japaneses trailers, and what I find interesting is that they really focus on the spookiness of their stories. If America stop sugar coating our movies and get back to the focus of fear, then going to the movies would be more pleasurable for the money

  • @sdavis197 But I have a question for you: How can we do that kind of trailer?

  • @SuperFlashDriver Sorry, I meant to write the spookiness in the actual flick itself and not just the trailer. Trailers have always intrigued a person (as well it should) to go see the upcoming flick but the problem is when we actually see the flick we're pissed cause it didn't live up to the promise of being thrilled, like the trailer....like this movie

  • @sdavis197 Okay then. If you want to see an awesome trailer, then I'll make it the best that you'll fin around. Seriously, I'll make it. And I know, some trailers don't excite me anymore, They don't have deep-story and tons of excitement that I would want in the movie. Plus, I want to see Video game films (besides Tron/Legacy) like "Need For Speed","Halo"(if people would want to see),and lots more. I'll make the impossible become possible.

  • This is really cool...!! i have watched lots of films on moovi.co.cc... no other place you can watch films with such good clarity online!!

  • Nice! Great graphics!! Sound and image quality has done it all! This is what I needed and was looking for!!! See you on moovi.co.cc if you think you like this movie...

  • I've seen Poltergiest, Paranormal Activity, Pet Semetary, The Silence Of The Lambs, Child's Play and several other horror films. This scared me the most, I can't wait to watch more J-Horror :) I'm not a weeaboo or wapanese but the Japanese have a hold over the Horror genre, I can't friggin wait to get hold of Ju On, Ringu or Audition ^_^

  • BETTER THAN THE FUCKING AMERICAN VERSION!!!!

  • is it that scary because I am 13 and I want to watch it. The thing is, I am quite good when it comes to horror. I watched the grudge and I was fine so what do you think? should I risk it? Should I have a friend with me? Or should I just wait till I'm abit older? xxx Thank-you.

P.S. I want to watch the japanese one :)

  • @Hatty1997 grudge is scariest then this so yeah go try

  • @Hatty1997 Hey hatty, if you're a horror fan I'd say yes watch it because it's really an excellent film about having a friend with you I dunno maybe it's better althought I prefer to watch them by myself when I'm at home alone in my room in the PC with the head phones, when I watch a horror film I like to feel the adrenaline and most of the times the person who is with you screws that by laughing during the film, thats a normal reaction to the fear...

  • there 2 japanesse movies????????

  • where is geun suk?????????????/

  • As soon as I stopped watching this my phone went off.

Scared the crap out of me.

    XD

    But I lived. :D

  • thing is that is my ring tone lol never had a phone call tho

  • asian movies are 10X scarier .

  • @Mejiiaa True dat. :D I don't know why. But true dat.

  • @Mejiiaa IKR!

  • has anyone noticed that in almost every japan scary movie something will have to do with hair lol

  • @linkheroofwonderland Or little kids.

  • @linkheroofwonderland

    THATS THE BEAUTY OF IT!

    It's called ORIGINALITY :D

  • @Chemicgen1 XD yeah i guess so

  • @linkheroofwonderland That's just traditional imagery of the dead.

  • @RHYCrusaderZ oh thats awesome thx

  • @linkheroofwonderland i love asian horror movies so much its way better than the unscary american horror movies

  • @linkheroofwonderland why dont u try to understand the meaning of hair in this movies? if u dont know it, the hair has lots to do with ghosts in asia, not only japan

it means anger, so is always very long and black hair

same as white clothes they wear, everyhting has a meaning

  • @Toorunyappy oh thats so cool thanks so much :)

  • @linkheroofwonderland you´re welcome ^.~

  • @linkheroofwonderland yes yes they do

  • @linkheroofwonderland Because hair is fcking SCARY! O_o

  • @linkheroofwonderland No duh, they have long hair. ^^

  • @InformerMaz XD

  • @linkheroofwonderland xD Ahahahahaha, I shouldn't be saying that. xD

  • the movie sucks, the actresses couldn't live into their role and the story was good but it was many weird things, ( spoiler ) a girls head flew off in the television and no police and things like that contacted her friends who was with her all the time and was there when her head flew away.

  • the american one was funny

the japanese one is plain out scary

seriously, even the ring tone is scarier in the japanese version

in the american version, the ring tone sounds like my old ringtone, and thats not scary

  • that was freaky now i feel like someone is behind me

  • American versin was way better

  • I bet Japanese people think that our movies are scary and theirs are boring, like how ours are boring and theirs are exciting..

  • this is all american horror films are o fuck me harder booom something comes threw the door fuck u get out fuck fuck fuck fuck fuc fcuk thats it then they die in afake bloddy death

  • this is one of the scariest, creepiest movies i have seen in my life.

  • I like the Japanese version better, but I didn't understand the ending . T___T;;

  • I find this one on kookíca and I was thrilled...t has a perfect blend of emotions and feelings aroused by this films...highly recommand

  • this is one of that lough out loud movies , perfect to watch with your friends... I find it on kookíca and I think it's the best movie site

  • the only way american movies are scary is because the over use the "sudden" effect

,like something suddenly jumping in the screen, and gore, that's those are the only things making american movie scary

  • I saw the Japan one a bit back, my relatives said it's better than the American one.

  • i remember i watched this at 4 in the morning while the rest of my family was overseas and i was alone in the house ,my heart nearly came out of my chest

  • this is a good film the american remake is garbage. Some Japanese/Asian horror you cant remake any where like the originals its the mood/atmosphere/settings that these Asian films are so good at creating.

  • japanese movies r scarier cuz the people just look scary lol

  • man the japanese always make the scariest fucking movies

  • No offense but Japan has literally copied America in countless products/events/etc... But for once the tables have switched. Now America is copying Japan. And failing. ^_^

  • @VhUgGz what are you sniffing glue? Japan has always been more the copied if anything, it predates our country by thousands of years

  • why does the american version remind me of final destination?

  • @AsianNerdism It was actually a hard-candy. :]

  • I saw the film last night on kòòkica, and it was fantastic. I echo what he says...this movie is about so much more than just movie. And to address all the comments about cinemetography: director does an excellent job shooting this film.

  • i dont have a PHONE BICH XD *pay phonr rings*i aint getting that >.>

  • ahahaha i love them school outfits i maybe 60 but they just stay the same age..... [pedo bear aprroves]
