Say what you want about luck (90% of the most amazing saves have a high amount of luck [including Caron]). This is probably the most incredible save on tape. The amount of net the shooter had, the contortion St Pierre had to make, and the sheer aesthetic of the whole sequence renders it, in my own opinion at least, the most amazing save I have ever seen.

As nice as desperation saves can get, they by no mean signify you belong in the nhl(Roman Checkmanek anyone?). Relying on desperation and reflexes probably means your positioning is average at best or that you're overly agressive...or stay too deep in your net. That dosen't sound too nhl worthy to me...

I live in Ft. Wayne, and while I agree that was a luck save, Kevin St. Pierre is still one of the best minor league goalies I've ever seen. Better than Doug Teskey, who also played for the Komets, and Teskey was in the NHL for a couple years.
