  • you have a good idea just refine it more the vtol is in its own rotor wash you need to get up to 3 or 5 feet off ground to get away from rotor wash and no strings or are you tring to play tetherball

  • balance the weightin each of the pinkpong balls. servo adjust so it will not rotate. take off from about 3 feet off the ground in a bigger room.

  • the thing is no matter how centered everything is this design will NEVER EVER be inherently stable. the first time I launched it went up strait like a rocket but the problem is it moves way to fast to all diections. gyros solve this but I wanted offcourse to put the vtol into a bigger craft

    I once saw a 20ft mockup of an F-15 fighter Eagle that had twin ducted fan engines and swing wing and it work in flight. it was at a mall show for RC planes and helicopters.

  • 11,1 lipo 1250mah battery, motor was giving around 150watts at that video.. it is a 300 watt motor

    te recomiendo subir el cg y bajar el perfil aerodinamico para tener mas apalacmiento y poder estabilizar con el horizonte

  • thanx man but I dont speak spanish , yeah the problem was to get it balanced you know.. I think all the problems will be solved by having two rotors to cancell all gyro and torque forces
