It's not the religion that is stupid. It's that particular people that is quite not up to the standard. The only thing that should be regarded as false when it's not mentioned in Quran is things that are regarding to RITUALS. Not EVERYTHING. If Earth was truly known to be a Sphere IN 700 AD as you Muslims claim, Why would Muslims pray to empty space because we know Earth is a curved Sphere, Any given point can never face Mecca.

Can you see the beauty now?

The Chaldean astronomers, observing the shadow of the Earth on the moon during eclipses, determined that the Earth was a sphere. The shadow is always curved to the same degree, no matter the height of the moon in the sky during the eclipse. This is only possible if the Earth is spherical. This was in about 600 BCE.
Ironically, those astronomers came from what is now Iraq. Strange, no?

Have you seen google maps? If you drag it with your mouse pointer left or right, You will see that it keeps going toward that direction. So this earth is round, and is shaped like a halo. The land and sea is facing outwards, not inwards. The sun does not move at all. Earth rotates like a wheel.

Watching this video, I went through stages, like the 5 stages of loss for example.
