@MF11283 look at the door to front fender gap. the top of the front fender is against the door, and at the bottom there is a big gap. the truck is bending right there and that gap kept getting worse and worse every time we jumped it. by the end of the day, the frame was bent so much that the linkage for the trans wouldn't work. the shifter in park, and truck was really in drive.

The first vortec was in late 93 but they were junk till 96 when they got rid of the junky spider injector other than that not a rare truck I have had about 100 of them and some are very hard to kill

I couldn't do that in my S10...I have the 4.3L Vortec V6 in my '88 with 4wd, but I'd never force it over jumps. That's just a waste of money and a waste of a perfectly good truck....

Well first off, they didn't make Vortec in 88. They started Vortec heads in 93-or 94 and then the more common Vortec injection started in 96. And you must not have read the part where we got paid to do this so how is that wasting our money. And third, the truck had title issues so it couldn't be registered or driven on the street or even have insurance

What do you mean it doesn't take much to kill an s10, we jumped it 80 times and nothing broke, we rammed it with other cars, slammed it into cliffs, rock crawling, and mudding for 5 hours and, the only thing that happened, rusty brake lines blew out, and the shifter linkage was bent, frame bent, but it still drove at the end of the day!!!
