yeah dude. i have a spider IV. i love the settings it has. i spent 100 dollars on a pedal and ive used it twice. the combo just has so much to choose from. nice cover, this is on of my favorite sevendust songs.
@ThisWillLeaveaMark Line 6 Spider III 2x10 combo. No pedals, just altered the Meshuggah setting. I don't use my live rig for cover videos. Might eventually.
@AbrahamNigur Wow, I'm a little late, sorry! Yes it's just a standard. Only thing I did was switch out the bridge pickup with a Dimarzio Super Distortion; which ended up being one of the best ideas I've ever had.

@fmbighair - Very, very little. This guitar really didn't need adjusting. I'm still amazed at the quality of this guitar, especially for the price. I have a guy who sets up all my guitars, he's the best I've found. He said this was easier to setup for Drop B than my LTD EC-1000, Les Paul Studio, and most other guitars for under $1500. It's a steal.
Well, those are 2 completely different guitars. I personally cannot stand SGs. My Soltero is the Standard, so an actual Gibson SG would probably be nicer by most people's standards. But the Soltero SL or USA will beat out any Gibson you can find. Gibson's quality just isn't what it used to be. SGs are ugly and uncomfortable in my opinion.

went to the shop yesterday, pretty much the only one in the whole of britain to have a soltero, played it. my god, the sound it makes. and my hand just glides down the neck!! made a newbie like me sound like a pro :D ordered it right away, only 27 days to go until I have it sitting in front of me!!!!!
He bud, im thinking of getting a soltero myself, what finish is that? ive seen a few brazilia burst which look kinda crappy but i love the black touches round the edge, is that an older/newer model?
They are great guitars. And my shitty camera doesn't do the finish any justice. Speaking of my shitty camera... that's why there haven't been any more videos. It seems that it likes to work only every few months.
I know the pearl white one just hits the spot for me and the looks, and even with the camera it still looks great. But more importantly, it sounds fantastic!

dude you have excellent timing. can you do a cover of "ugly" and post it online? My guitar sounds like shit when its tuned that low so I don't even bother attempting Sevendust tunes.
It gets the job done at home. When gigging I use a 6505+ head with a Line 6 4X12 300 watt handling cab. Thinking about switching to a Vader 4x12 cab though.

nice job, noticed you use 13-56? Just wondering if you make any adjustments to the neck or trussrod for the lower tuning?

Thanks man! I use Blue Steel 13-56 with a wound 3rd. They're not too tight, not too loose. And the wound 3rd sounds great in these lower tunings.

Mine is a Transbrazilia Burst, yeah. My camera doesn't do the finish any justice whatsoever. You can't even really see the flame top.
