whats up with the intake? this is one of my biggest pet peeves. need to block off the air filter from the engine bay.

The intake was temporary, because I had a supercharger sitting in the garage that was going on. Thats why it was short and not really matching the rest of the car. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to ask about it... lol.

Thanks. Yes, it's a C-4. Sorry about the music, but I turned it down and the car engine up in all the editing, so you hear the car throughout the video. I have covering up good engine sound, so I edited accordingly.

Thanks. Just an FYI, It's not very common to find a manual drag car. Manual is fun on the street, but an ideal drag car would be set up with an auto and trans brake. Thats where I was hoping to go, but sold the car.

Thanks for the compliments guys. txjacks07, no I have not been on westsidemustangs. The guy that bought the car from me is in the Dallas Fort Worth area now, so maybe he is? I don't know for sure. There are a few cars here in Texas with a "Texas Flag" paint scheme. Mike Muerillo, out of San Antonio had a Texas Flag paint scheme but his car is no more.

Hah 11s with a 302 that can run a supercharger on it is laughable man. Unless the panels are fiberglass. Well around here at least. And Manual > Auto btw. Don't care if it's easier to run down the strip, I like having a challenge and a manual brings that to me. 00 T/A WS6 running 185 shot with complementing mods, full interior, A/C, and a heavy ass sound system. Hey smart ass... the owner ran 11's without the charger. That was on the motor... You should be running low 12's in a WS6 on the motor with only a few mods. Your car is slow. You're not in Kansas anymore Dorthy. BTW... people down here run 9's on a 306 with juice. Where in the world did you get coming up with fiberglass panels? Even the 8sec stangs I hang out with don't even use fiberglaSS, LOL. Find another way home pizza boy.

Maybe, but you don't see 8 second drag cars running a manual. They all use powerglide 2 speed autos or C4's and the like. They are all automatics. Do some research on those fast cars and you will learn how it works. That was my test drive, future plans were to make it a faster car and the C4 was necessary for my application.

Thanks man. I never dynod or tuned this car, but it was totally stripped and lightened for the track. Though I never ran it, the new owner runs the 1/8 with it and the times equil to high 11's in the 1/4. This is on the stock bottom end without the supercharger. Running a trans brake and all the extras. I put HP and Torque just under 400 maybe....
