I've listened to almost all well known recitations of Surah Kahf and this one stands out. It is clear and the pace is nearly perfect.

It's not a mistake, he is reciting in the Qiraa'ah of Buzzy 'an Ibn Katheer, not Hafs 'an 'Aasim. I would recommend you study Sciences of the Qur'an, particularly the area of ahruf and qira'aat inshaAllah.
