Been Jamming to Budgie since 1977, Found L.P.s of them when I was in Germany(3 yrs) Gotta love these guys (cassetes where just coming out lol) They seem to make alot of strong music for how few members there are.....
Those who purchased a few LP's 35-45 years ago were buying a piece of a Musical Renaissance. As profound as the Great Art of the 16th Century and the Great Classical Music of the 18th Century. Hundreds of years from now this music will be viewed exactly that same way. We complain how the music of the present weakly imitates and has no substance. A fool's folly! The best Artists of the 20th Century Music Renaissance can not be duplicated any more easily than Mozart or the Sistine Chapel..

came across these albums in 70's and saw them up close too! I especially remember Parents and guitarist really got into it just like the record.aqui estamos todos los rock n rollers locos
Too right , back in the day, so many good bands got overlooked. Agree 100% with zpook 59. If you like this try Camel, Nazareth, SAHB and Iron Claw. Other good bands that also got the dingy, the auld rubber ear. Long live the MIGHTY MIGHTY BUDGIE. Lets face it , they invented heavy metal 8 years before it ever happened and just about everyone ripped off Tony Bourge.
One of the best bands that came out of the UK,And never got the recognition they deserved. Yea, you can tell how old I am,damn that was a long time ago. L&R zpook59. Rock on!
@zpook59 Ya,I found L.P.'s of them back in 77 when in Germany (army) and been listening to them since till 2day,... I Have practically every song they've done (on C.D.) They Rock!!! Now I feel old lol,... Another band is "Nektar" "Remember the Future" L.P. (is all one song), its very good too, starts out alittle slow then JAMS Check it out.
When BANDOLIER came out, I played that damn record to death. And this was my favorite song on it...just major ass-kickin' rock & roll from start to finish. Wish to Christ I could have seen them in concert while they were still together.
Great Download!!! Thanks! I just don't understand why Amazon, I tunes etc. doesn't have this band yet on their downloads yet? This is a nice re-mastering of the original recording. I bought all their albums in the early to mid 70's,The music speaks for itself!

I remember, and how the hell they got lost along the way is beyond me-they were up there at the top of everything that counted.
Guess they were just as mashed as me at the time too.
Still those that listen can still appreciate,so lost but not forgoten I guess.
