And, this consoles have optimized DX9, (and cards similar like a GF7950 or less from PS3, X360 too, just from ATI, an ATI Xenos or something like that).
depends on the game of the ps3 and how much graphic power it takes from it. thats why it may not look all antialiased but there is about 4x AA for both xbox 360 and ps3. and yes AA DOES matter at high resolutions...
Post processing dynamiclly lights each texture tile individually so thats the one your talking about and if you dont know what resolution is for, then you dont know what HD looks like then. put the resolution on your computer to the highest and it looks amazing.

What the consoles are doing though, is stretching out 1024 x 768 to fit on a bigger TV. It's a big lie that they run at HD. I hate hearing that. Consoles are weak. Research, I'm not lying.
The Ps3's processor is good, but its gpu is bad. Same as the 360 really. Thats why they use such low resolutions. High res - strain on gpu. Low res - performance is effected by all hardware.
it depends on what the game if its cod 4 your pc would loose compared to the ps3 because it already has the graphcics requirements and way beyond that, but if u were to play a game that required a bigger prossecer the pc would win due to the lack of prossecer speed of the ps3 so it all depends on the games your are playing :)

The cell processor has eight cores running at 3.2 ghz. This allows for things such as lighting, physics etc. to be processed through the processor and not necessarily the gpu, taking a lot of stress of the gpu. Hope it helps.

1280 x 720 not 1024 x 768, a few games on ps 3 HAVE 1920 x 1080 resolution

Yeah, I guessed the PS3 + Xbox 360 would be better than my PC, or around the same.
I've actually installed Vista instead of XP.
I've been doing some benchmarks, and I'll be posting some videos up on gameplay with the 9600GT.
I'm about to post a video of Crysis gameplay. ^.^'

the ps3's graphics card is a 7900gt renamed.
which is about twice as as good as the ps3's.
you would rape both the ps3 and xbox 360, in bothe higher resolutions and framerates. dont beleive anything anyone tells you.
