I just stumbled across this clip now. That is actually my car. At the time that video was taken the car did also have a cam, 228 on a 112lsa and it had catalytic converters in it.

Pulling the cats out it's got quite the bite to it and is very loud. The car ran high 11's they way it was in the clip, now it has AFR heads and a few other things. 11.49 was the best ET, but I expect to blow that time away soon. Thanks for all the compliments.

honestly i've heard this exhaust system by GMMG. They are awesome! My uncle had a 2002 Pontiac T/A BlackBird Year One edition, the prototype car and it came with the exhaust. It sounded sweet with the cats on! Exactly what you here here. This exhaust system has almost no sound deading baffles in the muffler hence why you get a thrush of sound, but it's very tuned for exhaust "pulses". Of course for sound like this and stainless steel looks, it's pricy for 800 bucks, but soooo worth it!

special k turbos have lag... the only thing u can say is that it doesnt get traction..cuz its a beast

A properly sized turbo doesn't have lag. Strapping a huge ass GT60 to a supra makes it absolutely gutless below 7500RPM. Its' not the peak that makes a car fast it's the entire curve. You don't want a power curve that looks like a moped could take it till you get up to 70.

Actually you can. Squire Turbo Systems offers a system where you mount the turbo system where the Exhaust normally is. Funny how they can get away with around 12lbs of boost without an intercooler that way. Though by the time it reaches the intake the boost has gone down to 9 or 8 psi thanks to the distance traveled adn the heat that radiates from the charge piping.

That car has a serious cam & head package in it. It's not JUST the exhaust you're hearing. A stock LS1 won't sound anything like that. Not that it won't sound good, but you'll be needing to drop another 3 grand if you want THAT identical sound. Just throwing 2 cents in.

That was ~$800 well spent for exhaust. GMMG is the best sound you can get out of a catback, at least on the LS1 cars(I have LT1). The lopy idle was just icing on the cake for me.
