  • merrick doesn't ask me about the falcons what should i do? i havent done casino yet but i have done the sanctuary... :S

  • you know the characters arent really talking to you, you dont need to answer them or comment on their answers, you know? lmao! =) j/king i love listening to your running commentary.

  • 4:37 If it's not for sale, why the hell is it on the store shelves?! It could at least be hidden away in the attic or basement so it can be burgled!

  • "I'm Alundra~ I don't come up with ideas! I just kill things, you guys come up with ideas, I just do what you guys tell me to do" lmfao why do I have a nagging suspicion that's exactly what Alundra is thinking

  • BLOW IT UP!!! after you steal everything XD

  • I really tried to reach 10000 of the money to pay the stuff, but know the catch?

It only reaches 9999! This is a middlefinger of the developers!

  • I have 38 Gilden Falcons and not give me this, how do I do?

  • That's Boner's house.

  • you have thirty falcons, you brought me thirty falcons, heres for the thirty falcons

did you know you had THIRTY falcons?

    god damn

  • how did marik intend to get the gilded falcons if several are in people's dreams

  • video game logic?

  • He didn't know that. All he knew was that they were all around the world.

  • am i the only one that finds it hilarious that people are arguing about religion on here? i'm not saying there is or there isn't a god or gods, but it's a youtube video for fuck's sake! it's not even a documentary about that sort of thing! some people need to start taking things less seriously.

  • Ehm. No one has been arguing about religion. It *is* possible to mention the word "god" in a discussion without it being a discussion about religion.

But yes, I agree that it became way too off-topic and out-of-place, which is why I ended it. And I'm sorry for starting it!

  • sorry, i just get annoyed by stuff like that. no need to apologize, just learn from your, uhm, i won't say mistake, but you know what i mean, hopefully.

  • Hmm, I wonder if Lord Vega is anti-theist.

    Nah...

  • hes i nihilist

  • Yay, there's the gilded falcon guy! I was waiting for that gilded falcon store to show up. It's where you can spend your 30 gilded falcons, if you've gotten 30 gilded falcons up to that point! Luckily, you had 30 gilded falcons. So now you get items worth 30 gilded falcons.

  • youre lps are pretty good. im subscribing

  • HELL YEAH next time!

  • "You've brought me 30 today. .. That means you've brought me 30 Gilded Falcons so far. You have presented me with 30 Gilded Falcons."

    Ahaha.

I don't think he's too great at counting.

  • Hmm this didn't show in my subscriptions, but whatever, I'm watching it! and L0rdVega you're a trooper.

  • Nice videos Vega, you're my favorite Lets player

    haha

Did you notice the puppy ontop the fountain?

  • 30 gilded falcons, part 30, 30 life vessels... that's odd

  • So, chapel. Do I sense a dungeon? Or no? Also, is there anyway to get the best armor in the game; or are you just pulling our legs? Seems kinda pointless to me to add something you cant use yet so desperatly want. S: IM TEMPTED TO FIGURE OUT.

  • If I remember right if you jump on his head to get to it he makes a crack about "using your head" or something to that tone. Or it could have been too many nights of alundra and not enough sleep XD

  • Hmm, there's a lot of BREAKING AND ENTERING in this game, eh?

  • These are the interwebs. Religion, and anything serious have no place here...

But seriously, gambling is way better than saving humanity...always.

  • Do Guilded Falcons pulled out of one's subconcious count? Huh...

  • why would they put a item on the shelf but not sell it?

  • if you havent noticed, these are the same people who cant count and eat at broken tables. its not that shocking lol

  • If you stand against the frontdoor of the sanctuary and use the level 1 wind scroll the bolt will break the window in the back and alundra will warp to the back and enter the sanctuary. A waste of magic, I know, but still it was the only way I knew of when I first played it :P

  • Hooray, a use for those Gilded Falcons! Also breaking into churches is the best thing. THE BEST THING.

  • I don't like churches at all, religion is over rated in my personal opinon

  • Hey Vega, did you know you have 30 Gilded Falcons?

  • Liar.

  • We haven't went to it yet

We haven't gone to it yet

  • So will you eventually buy, or steal the armour?

  • Let me guess that person that owns the best armour in the game is going to die and then you will be able to steal it?

  • A guess is a guess.

  • lol viewer nice 1 vage

  • Worshiping evil without realizing it? I have heard about that before... Oh yeah! Pretty much any believer of an all-mighty overseer. It's logically impossible for an all-mighty god or similar of this world to be anything but evil, should it exist.

  • What?

  • What Meia was saying about Ronan. ^^

  • I know that, but I don't get the point you were trying to make about it being impossible for a god to not be evil. It doesn't make sense.

  • That's an *almighty* god, not just any god (which is another case and needs more reasoning). Assuming the statement is true (which it must be) then anyone worshiping a higher spirit like an almighty god is worshiping a malicious entity (probably without realizing it), just like Ronan. Even if Ronan worshiped the "other gods" he would still worship something malicious (assuming they are almighty or have enough power of the world to control certain key things).

  • Or maybe you didn't understand the reasoning behind the statement itself? I can also explain that, if you want.

  • Why does an "almighty" god have to be malicious? Is it because there are things that exist in the world that people consider evil, therefor the almighty god must also be evil to allow those things to happen?

  • I thank you for questioning me instead of just accepting or rejecting what I say.

Teehee, I'm so going to hate the letter count limit after this. ^^

  • First of all, remember that this reasoning assumes something like a god even exists to begin with. It's entirely possible, and probable, that "evil" is just an effect of a meaningless soup "existing" without anything like a god. This is also pretty much equivalent to an amoral god (not at all powerful and so cannot be held responsible), but one could then question if that's a god at all.

  • Oh, and when I say "evil" I don't mean morally bad, since an almighty god could choose to its liking what is morally good and bad, and it could have another definition for itself. I mean what is unwanted, or perceived as unwanted, by this god's creation (not only humans, but I call it "we") as individuals and as a whole.

  • What you mention is only one part of the reasoning. An almighty god would also be responsible for making it happen in the first place. Why not just send everyone unconditionally to this thing called "heaven" to begin with? It would have the power to do so, so why not?

  • Why create conflicting religions? Why stay hidden? Why tell people to be "nice" and then put them in situations they cannot possibly act "good" in? Even the fact that we perceive certain things as unwanted means the god is evil. For example, it's not because people die or suffer that god must be evil, it's because we even perceive such things as bad things.

  • Okay, so you're saying God breaks his own rules and forces people into situations where they have to break his rules?

    That makes sense then.

  • @L0rdVega Religion is flawed, because it was invented by man. The fact that God exists is questionable, but within the hearts of people, He does. The Bible was written by people who followed Christ around & wrote down his messages. I think that we as people are suppose to sin. If we did not sin, life would be boring & Alundra would have never been invented for our enjoyment.

  • I'm sorry, but even 'if' one was to assume an "almighty" god existed, that doesn't mean that you can automatically assume that an afterlife exists.

  • If you by "afterlife" mean what I said about "heaven", then yes, I can assume it exists, or could exist, if there is an almighty (there's no need to quote-unquote it; it's a dictionary word and means omnipotent, all-powerful) god that can choose it to exist. Should it not want to, it's evil. "Heaven" doesn't need to be according to the Jewish or Christian definitions (which is why I quote-unquote it). I mean a state where "we" do not perceive anything as bad.

  • Soo many questions:

Why would not creating a "heaven" for us (and only us?) make this supposed being evil? The world isn't completely black and white you know...

Why would such a being even care about humans anymore than we care about cockroaches?

And what makes you think that religions are actually created by gods?

  • We are really getting off-topic here, I guess. I didn't mean to start a whole philosophical discussion here. ^_^

Andreas, you need to realize we are talking about an all-powerful god who per definition has "decided" everything (whether it wants to or not). So powerful that it lives outside of time so that the concept of "anymore" that makes sense to us is useless to itself. Your second and third question thus are answered.

  • I should also clarify that *I* do *not* believe a god or gods create religions. I do not believe gods exist at all. I just mean how it would be per definition *if* an all-powerful god exists. Also I should mention that an all-powerful god cannot be many, it can only be itself (in other cases it shares power in one way or another, and can impossibly be really all-powerful).

  • Your first question is more interesting because one could definitely argue that a little hard time now and then makes the good parts more interesting! My answer is, like I said before, that the important point is not that bad things do happen, but only that we would be "programmed" to recognize/perceive them as bad.

  • With all that said, I'm afraid I cannot continue this discussion, mainly because YouTube channel comments are unsuitable for it. Are you more interesting in this you should find a philosophy discussion board or similar. It's a common topic there.

  • You do realize that you never specified an all-knowing (different from all-powerful) creator. Even if there was a god (and I don't believe that for a second), that still doesn't mean it created anything (that's a whole different set of assumptions).

I feel like I should also point out that "outside of time" by definition would mean that it wouldn't exist.

My main point however is that indifference to humans does not equal evil or malevolence in any way.

  • Whether god actually exist is outside of the scope of the reasoning; it's a premise. If an all-powerful god does not exist then the reasoning becomes useless. And it probably *is* useless. ;) But that is also irrelevant to the discussion.

No, I meant all-powerful as in also all-knowing. I mean unlimited. Anything you can think of, and more, it could do.

  • Of course, the reasoning also assumes that it's possible to be outside of time; another premise. It can also be said that if it's impossible for a god to be outside of time it's also impossible for it to be all-powerful and thus both premises to the reasoning would be false. Unless you can prove it's impossible for a supposed god to be outside of time then your argument does not hold. And no, nothing in the definition(s) of time or "outside of time" says it is impossible.

  • Your main point is based on your personal opinion, not logical reasoning. And it's also irrelevant to the reasoning I have made.

  • Why?

  • Yeah! Thank you Vega. You just taught me an invaluable lesson. If anyone wants me to save the world, I-ll just spend around an hour gambling in a Casino, just to climb a chapel and brak in, to search through a priests things.

  • Only Legend of Zelda has promoted breaking and entering, stealing, murder, bribery, intimidation etcetc more so than Alundra...and even then its only because Zelda has been around longer.

  • Down with organised religion, FUCK yes!

  • Why would the store clerk have a piece of priceless family armor on display in her shop in the rest of the items? Must be an excuse to show it off : C

On another note, that is freaky chapel.

  • VIEWER!!!!

  • hell yea! burn it down!!

  • Did the gilded falcons are for buying or have they some other reason ingame

  • Whoa, that was a horribly phrased sentence.

Their only use is giving them to Merrick for items.

  • sorry my english is very rusty i learned it in german scool 5 years ago^^ and times got pased

  • I was never allowed to steal from a chapel and burn it down, damnit...

I guess I gotta buy the game now :D
