the only thing I hate about electric pianos is the thump you hear when you hit the key in the speakers

You can reduce the "THUMP" by doing a 'bass cut' if the amplifier has that sort of control.. Nothing beats an accoustic piano in my opinion.. oh well

I practice the HAMPERS also just myself and therefore I can say this is not real easy to learn.
