I seem to be in the minority when I say I really, Really, REALLY like the style of Bayformers. I mean, what the hell do we know what giant shape-changing alien machine robots look like? They're so daring and ambitious, I love it!

Seriously, Demolishor here (and Blackout!) SHOULD have gotten the Leader-class treatment. Oh, and my new Takara-Tomy Leader-class Monkey-Jet totally rocks my socks.

Other Transformers that look like Demolishor? I think there's only one, that's Energon Steamhammer, who forms the core of the Energon Constructcions. Not a bad toy, really. I have to disagree with you on Demolishor, though. He looks like crap.

Little story regarding your review. I decided to pass on this toy, just not to my liking. But I showed my wife the first part of your review; thought she'd get a chuckle from your ROTF/Heavy Metal comment. Great review Thew, but ROTF I can't do! With a 35 to 65 percent of toys in this line I do and don't want I be saving my pennies for a masterpiece prime. Well human alliance Bumblebee and Sideswipe are 2 definites. I already have the deluxe Sideswipe, but I'll be very picky about the rest,cheers yo and may your day be the best. HA! Wheelie can't kick a rhyme like that!

sideswipe is beautiful but he is a shell former. he has an unofficial "im carrying a car like a kayak" mode.

demolisher looks like a robot... made by an MIT student in the 80s. which would only make a funny alt mode imo.

Actually, the one thing I really, really dislike about this figure is his arms. Not in how they look, but they should have added a shoulder rotation so he can aim those scoops forward to do some damage!

PS. His altmode is an excavator yes, after a bucketloader scoops up the dirt layer, a vehicle like that one is used to fill up one of those huge ass trucks, which Long Haul is, with coal/ore.

Hey there Thew,

ROTF; strikes me as sort of like the Star Wars prequel titles, i.e. like something an eight year old came up with. Even so, it's looking to be a bloody good film. I've been pretty skeptical of this guy up 'til now. I think I might give him a look; he does seem pretty interesting, even though I can't help but think of him as the Decpticon Unicycle of Doom. 5/5

Yes indeed, it looks to be a spectacular noisefest of the highest order! I'm not too interested in the rest of the toys, but Demolishor may have convinced me to pick up the rest of the Constructicons. I don't even care if they don't combine.
