It's called haste. With the bug I was able to spam hit my throwing weapon and the global cooldown was insanely fast.
The stats that would increase were due to the stats on the items in the bags. Because I had some items with haste on them, It increased my haste so I was at a very increased attack speed. That would explain why.

Nope, anytime an instance was changed the stats reset. So going from Shat -> Sunwell by the portal worked, but going from outlands to azeroth did not. (Same with entering an instance)
He was also using the stat stacking bug. He had I think a little over 1 million hp. The throws I was getting 31k and regular hits of 69k/175k I had about 12 million health. The fight with the warlock, I wasn't stacked as much and only had about 2.5 million health.
Everyone was doing this bug and it was quite fun. But it is the beta testing of the patch, not a private server.
