What would be really cool would be like some players could group together and form a chain of command at SGC, have a gate operator etc... that would pwn.

I doubt it, i would think the SGC would be run by NPC's . Only thing i don't want to see, is if i walk up to go through the gate, and hope for the wormhole experience, and get a fucking "Now loading" msg when traveling to another world. Got tired of that shit with EQ and other mmo's

I would expect that, but the loading screen will problrably move, wich is where your going through the worm hole,

I imagine it depends on Implementation, if you have to "request" an area then it opens the Stargate(with pretty animations no less) They could preload your destination to create seemless transitions.

On the other hand I imagine they will make it a Waypoint system. Enjoy your Loadscreen :P
