Wow. I didn't know Fats covered this song. I like Bing's version the best, but this is great too.

It's not "Ed" Bowlly who did a version of this song in the 1930s, it was AL Bowlly.

And the most popular version from when the song was new was by Bing Crosby.

This isn't a fats domino song. It's an Ed Bowlly song. While Fats is a wonderful singer and I love his music, I think he totally screwed this song. : /

@classysasafrassy It's actually not an Ed Bowlly song either, smart guy. This song was originally introduced by Art Jerrett in the 1933 movie Sitting Pretty. I think both Ed Bowlly and Fats Domino did a wonderful cover of this seemingly timeless classic. Perhaps Fats version is simply not to your particular taste, however to state that he "totally screwed this song" seems a bit much.
