  • this is great !

  • cymbals player fucked up at 1:33 lol

  • i love it

  • YAAYY go clarinets!! :D we're doing this for our spring concert! It's really fast in the third movement for the clarinets haha.... But I'm sure we'll get there

  • @pokenaruto54 Tenor saxes for the win~!

  • @Drummer8nimation after every brass instrument except piccolo trumpet.

  • @italaugh83745 after the kazoo

  • TENOR SAX FTW

  • sounds better with orchestra, but still this is cool

  • yes they do, dummy, 6:08 there are french horns.

  • 1:17 ... fucking disharmony...

  • @jankohraskofake I think it's because the trumpet player wasn't hitting the High A or B's.

  • The only thing I have to say about this is, it's fast.

    Other than that, good job.

  • is this in japan? or china? haha its whatever, they are good, fast tempo, should work on tuning just a little, other than that they r really good(:

  • the tempo is off but other than that, great job

  • I just played this as toms 5 times last week in NYC but the best were on the USS Intrepid and times square and the Isabella center and Gettysburg

  • mallet percussion and drums anyone (:

  • sometimes it's a little bit scruffy and too fast...

but apart from that it's nice...

  • A Colombian band's attempts to touch the same hope that goes well sorry but most do not understand English

  • you guys are good):

  • my orchestra is playing a strings arrangemont of this. . . . .

    in DISNEYLAND

  • Una banda colombiana la intentara tocar los esta misma esperemos que la vaya bien

  • @camilopaspi spraken ze einglish?

  • percs are too loud, i guess...

  • why do I have the feeling that nobody is looking at this man with the stick and funny moves...? :))

  • @sonnyVayo the man is called a conductor, and the stick is called a baton. please show some respect.

  • clarinet iz da best!

  • the french horns are inaudible !!!

  • i remember my school band performing this at my valedictory. it sounded really good. Too bad couldn't get a video of it. Would have been great to see on youtube.

  • theyre fast when they need to be slow and slow where they need to be fast

  • i thought overall the performance was pretty good - you have to take into consideration the fact that are a really small band, so all of the parts are more exposed. It's hard to play that kind of music in a small ensemble i think...

  • ewwww you guys suck

  • I played this same exact version (tympani) and this is officially one of my top 5 favorites songs i've ever played :) And, the only place he went too fast, imo, is about 5:30-6:30

  • It's very spirited and extremely well-concerted, but it should be quite a lot slower.

  • played this in a competition and got straight ones. I didn't see any saxes

  • wow the oboe really sounds good siah

wish our band plays this song sometime soon D:

    <3EUPHO

  • Love the Oboe around 0:45 it sounds good :) We are currently...um...hacking through this. Just kidding we are somewhat decent. we havn't played it many times though. I use this video to practice...just thought I'd share that with you :)

  • @StreetMarcher728 I play snare....just to throw something else in there that I forgot haha

  • @StreetMarcher728 oooh! the oboe does sound really good, i play it. and using a video to practice is a really good strategy, it gives you the opprotunity to hear all the sections and what tempo to work on ect. very smart. !

  • But yes french horns would make it sound better not that im saying it isnt its great!

  • if the french horns cant play let the ALTOS take over FUCK YEAH alto rules!

  • thats quite a small band. middle or high school?

  • @jck1794 This song is very advanced so most likely not middle school, but then again you never know

  • @StreetMarcher728 we played this song in middle school, not this many parts of it though i think it was medallion calls and hes a pirate. But ask your music director to get the music i guarantee they have it somewhere..

  • its because they are azn..............

  • nice, we played this in middle school (but i'll admit, we didn't sound as good, or at least i don't think we did... I really cant remember)

  • when we played this we played it like 2 times as fast it was our last concert of the year and we wanted to show everyone how fast we could do it and everything was in tune and no one missed anything, we were all dead at the end but it was fun hell the conductor was counting 1/1 cause she couldn't move her arm fast enough

  • @Strand500 i mean 1/4 sorry

  • very very good! i was looking for a more professional recording of the symphony suite, but u guys play this amazingly! i played this song in my symphonic band. now 2 years later looking back on all the things we missed, u guys exicuted perfictly! thank you for not sucking like most bands :)

  • That is quite fast...

The percussionists look like they're having fun while the rest of the band is dying...

But good job anyway. Seemed abit rushed though. Gah, who am i to speak anyway. GREAT JOB :D

  • voll gut ist besste was ich gehört habe :)

  • It's 2 fast -.- we playeds it 2

  • you here too much oboe other than that it was played well

  • it's fantastic

  • I loved this song. we performed this twice! I play 1st french horn... all together this song is not too too hard on french horn.... not until the fourth page that is.

  • my schools band cud do betta but still gud :)

  • My favorites song to play = this. <3

  • Do I spy a Soprano Sax? Look towards the left at 2:45. Nice.

  • all the way to the left is a Trumpet, on the right is an Oboe

  • i think we will play this in our band next year idk but i hope we do! (:

  • I played this song a few years back with my high school band and we didnt have bassoons or french horns but we sounds decent.

  • :/ Horns and bassoons are very important in this piece... you did well to sound "decent"

  • The only thing I noticed was that sometimes the balance was off. Other than that, I thought it was really good.

  • sounds great!!

  • this band is horrible. they did okay but theyre out of tune and hit wrong beats.

  • SOUNDS GOOD TO ME , WHAT DO YOU PLAY????

  • hes a pirate by Klaus Badelt...

  • Should have watched the film. The opening tempo is far too fast and not what is marked on the score!

  • Nobody plays exactly what is marked on the score. That would be boring. Great conductors will make adjustments to the music to fit the orchestra.

  • I don't see any bassoons!! I mean common!! The bassoon is MADE for the orchestra and it is awesome!!

  • Well, this isn't a symphonic ORCHESTRA is it?

  • they need french horns i mean cmon u need the best intrument ever

  • horn at 2:35

  • @csticker278 They have french horns. They are just kinda hidden, but they are in the middle.

  • @csticker278 I play the french horn Huzza!! lol

  • @csticker278 they're not french

  • @csticker278 ahh, sadly the french horn is not the best instrument, it is third after basson and tenor sax :P

  • @pokenaruto54 good on you! Tenor sax is BY FAR the best instrument in the band! Also my band played this exace piece and we're only a primary school band so year ha!

  • @pokenaruto54 which is only after flute and piccolo :P

  • @taylorofsoul which is after soprano sax :P well a good one at least...

  • @pokenaruto54 I PLAY TENOR SAX!!!!

  • @pokenaruto54 after the cowbell

  • @seachenny after the snare :D

  • @pokenaruto54 actually, sadly, the best instruments arent the basson, tenor sax, or french horn. it is the almighty triangle.

  • @csticker278 they have french horns >.>

  • @csticker278 I would have to disagree. Tuba is #1

  • @csticker278 nah bassoons much better :P

  • @csticker278 they have them

  • @csticker278 saxophone

  • @csticker278 it is fourth because euphonium is at the top

  • The clarinet needs to stay still!

  • i think low brass could be better. my school band did this song much better.

  • wats up with that percussion section ... chop em up .. im sure they all got good marks for this ... not so sure about the percussion ...

  • i cn hear the oboist clearly!!!

  • wow that musta given u guys chicken pocks while you guys were playin it

  • lolol. you mean goose bumps

  • no i mean chicken pocks.

    lol.jk

  • lolz :D

  • We might play this for our spring concert, but we only have 2 months to prepare and were 8th graders! We can do it though, Baritone T.C. rhythem is HARD though, those 8th notes tied to 16th notes... :P but it sounds really cool. :)

  • euphonium all the way! i play euphonium too and we're also playing this song, its hard but its good, and theres mad euphonium solos in that part called one last shot, go euphonium!

  • what is that drummer doing?

  • when they were playing their part ... not looking up ... surely not looking at director

  • tempo is the only no-no in this version....otherwise great job....(I'd fire the drummer cuz they don't seem to consider the other players or director)

  • eww. percussion

    blehhh

  • i like this song and my band is playing it to

  • same here

  • me too

  • Some of the lows section messed up a bit, bassoon was nice but needed to be louder, percussion -...

and your conductor sped up a punch... or maybe he was forced to by the drummers :(

Loudness pyramid was off... and so was the crescendo/decrescendo

the other parts of the song was okay though,

but of course, pretty good :)

  • you guys are quite good shame about the splitting trumpet notes and the fact your drummer plays at his own tempo, speeding up the rest of you

  • lmfao ur band just wanna keep going faster, but other than that, it's pretty good!

  • we're playing it verry much better....

    you're to fast....

  • @Honeyloli007 all asians are fast lol itz ok im asian lol

  • i wish my school band would play this song.but my conductor dun like it so i dun tink we'll ever get to play it as a band.

  • Anyone who doesn't like it... has really weird ways on music :(

My school's playing this too :)

  • yeah my conductor reali has weird ways on music.he prefers playing all those classical music which i dun like coz it'll juz make me fall asleep especially during the slow movement.-_-

  • this is awsum but my concert band plays better!

  • great job but would sound better if the french horns played louder

  • no change in clarinet intensity?! we want the creasant and the PROGRESSION! Bases are wonderful! trumpets ain't tonguing tight enough. haha. I rather say they ain't controlled at all. i hate clarinet players who count with clarinet. Still wonderful song and wonderful symphonic band! I love it.

  • WOW for the percussion!

  • medallion calls is too fast

it is supposed to be medium speed and majestic

    but everything else is okay

  • TRummpts needs to be way freaking louder be a lot more aggresive oboes kinda loud at some times it was good

  • very nice!!!

  • medallion calls is too fast.

its supposed to be majestic, medium speed, and loud sound from cornets/trumpets.

black pearl- the entrace is too loud. listen to soundtrack. they build up. you guys get loud then softer each time.

to the pirates cave- watch out for the low brass.

one last shot- beautiful clarinet. great sound. awesome trumpets/cornets.

he's a pirate- watch out for the trumpets/cornets entrance. good winds.

    good overall.

    good balance, etc.

  • I agree, The Medallion Calls is to fast, but geat over all

  • very nice balance on cords. nice dynamics. low brass watch your pitch sometimes but you did well playing together. nice transitions. trumpets on the high notes dont frack them. crash cymbal was a little early a few times but good job. nice preformance none the less a lot better than most bands play.

  • its awesome my band can't even play it that fast

  • hence thatt its a symphonic band, the best of the best

  • beautiful articulation :D, a lot better than most schools... the clarinets are awesome!

yet, sometimes its just a bit TOO perfect-- the trumpets can be a bit more "expressive" or louder. at times it was a bit too controlled.

  • GREAT JOB!!!! it was great, a lot better than my band's version, thought i like the flute parts in ours better.

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • omg,u all played this song so well, for me.. its better than our school band, the cornets are good!!

  • This song is very good but the drum can be a bit louder

  • this is a really good song

  • nice song :)

  • I diriged this music with the Grenoble wind orchestra felicity

  • Wo ai ni men duh(<-is that right?) guh.
