it's automatic, whenever someone locks on and shoots a rocket at it. you can hear when someone is locking on, so if you can kill that person before he fires (but they usually have cold-blooded), you might be able to save the flares and get a few more seconds up in the air.

1. he sniped from that hill, you can dominate someone on that hill with an assault rifle, good player would have got him right in the start.

2. he snipes 3 ppl in the bunker and stays in the same spot, noone even thought to go after him like the baddies they are.

3. chopper gunner. EVERYONE kept running outside, and not a single person wanted to even try and take it down.

the game mode really is the key factor. domination is one of the gamemode that lets you use the nuke. the other is denomination.

once you pull out the laptop for a killstreak, but before it goes into the cenario where you control it, such as a AC-130, or Chopper gunner, there is a way of canceling it, and i have no idea how. like during the animation of opening the laptop you can cancel it if you need to for what ever reason, but im not sure how. ive tried moving, and knifeing, but no prevail. anyone no hoW? : >

Let me clarify. You can EMP the Nuke before it's launched. The EMP will kill all killstreak rewards so if someone gets the nuke and doesn't use it before the EMP they lose the nuke completely.

There is a rumor that you can kill the nuke with the EMP if you use the EMP right before the nuke hits. Call in the EMP when the timer shows .5 seconds left. I havent seen this before but would be cool if true.

The EMP only delays the use of killstreaks if they have not been called in. If they are called in, it knocks them all out of the sky with the exception of a Nuke. I wish I could record because I would do the tests in a custom lobby again.

Boy are some of the killstreaks overpowered. Takes little to no effort getting a nuke when you have a chopper gunner streak. Stats like K/D ratio become totally worthless when you have killstreaks like these.
