@MrDKNOTT Try watching the movies on IMDB that are typically around 7.5-8 out of ten, I find these movies have the best soundtracks with these songs. Look up 'East Hastings' by Godspeed You Black Emperor (of 28 days later fame) or 'In the End' by Devotchka (Little Miss Sunshine). Good way to expand on music and movies.

My favorite song of this movie,I consider it one of Costner's best. It speaks of how genes ultimately win out despite the exhausting claims of behaviorism experts.Both are entangled inevitably,but there is far more supportive evidence to suggest that nature does ultimately win out.I guess that it all boils down to the philosophy that each of us subscribes to what dictated motives,rationale,or the circumstance surrounding the means to such and end.An end that too often reaches all untimely.

Mr. Brooks is my favorite movie. And this song inspires such strong emotion every time I hear it - especially in the scene it was used!

And they do remind one of Radiohead, but it's by no means a ripoff. They both make great, legitimate music.

I doubt they're going to make a sequel. The original movie was very good, and while there's certainly room to build on it, no sequel could be as thrilling or innovative as the original. I would personally let it alone as a good movie.

Not if its going to be another commercial sequel, like Matrix 2+, Saw 2+, etc. that turned out to be one dimensional junk, made with money for money, but in one interview Costner said that an initial idea of "Mr. Brooks" had been a trilogy.
