These old Wu songs are like a time machine. They take me back to the exact times when I used to listen to them. These ODB tracks in particular with their dirty baselines that sucked the air out your lungs. I thought I was on my own planet with this music though, no Youtube to show that millions felt the same way about it as myself. Most of the songs are not meant to dance to but nod your head and absorb your mind with a Wu members point of view on life. This was a time when you had real hip hop and not the pretend rap we have know which is really a hybrid hard R&B. Back then you had Dr Dre,Snoop,Ice Cube,Warren G,Nate Dog,Biggie,Onyx,Nas,Jay Z,Mob Deep,Cypress Hill, etc
