One thing that helped me was learning to do them over an obstacle. Doesn't matter how small it is, even a crack in the concrete. It forces you to have proper speed, it makes you pop, and it helps you visualize where in space to reconnect with that griptape when it comes around again.

@MxPMedia keep your back foot pointing right forward and to really kick out of the nose and extend your leg, not like out and round like a varial flip. just think about flicking it straight out and extend your leg.
